Maladath works exactly opposite of how you said. SInce you can't break +5 with it, it's actually ONLY useful for humans to further decrease glancing blow penalties. Otherwise, you'd have to be using edgemasters+maladath which would put you way over the cap and give you far less benefit than just having a better offhand.
To remove glancing blow, your weapon skill must be 308 or over. With maladath, you get +3 to sword and rogue already have +5 to weapons skills so you get your 308 cap with it. It depends on the class u play too

Huge misconception, Maladath is a (warrior?) human weapon and for any combat rogues with their swords... It would be super wasted on any other race/class. All the theory crafters agree on that due to it being +4 and not +5

With speed normalization brutality blade would be the best OH for human rogues just because of the pure stats and the fact that +4 swords doesn't give as much as 9agi, 9str and 1% crit. Those stats scale much better with kings and other buffs you can get. I wouldn't take it as a human rogue.
I think CTS looks cool as it gets. My personal goal for Classic is CTS, Maladath, and full T2 on my rogue. I obviously want to get T3 and get the Kelthusad swords, but I know that might not happen and I'll definitely be rocking BWL gear for most of Classic.
I thought you were going to mention Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker to be honest. It is a phase three weapon and you get part of the mats from BWL. Definitely one of the most op weapons you can get starting in phase 3 even into phase 6.
bruh! thunderfury was used even in TBC , world first Illidan tank has it equipped, and many did too, bc of the speed and proc, so yeah is the best weapon tanking weapon even for TBC.

Serious question here, not a complaint (as I know Blizzard did all this 15 years ago and it's not going to change). Fury warriors and rogues are absolutely dominating right now. I see fury warrs/rogues in blues walking into MC and out-DPS'ing mages and locks in full epics. Melee classes scale better with gear. Melee classes ALREADY crap on casters, and it sure looks to me like most of these upcoming weapons are geared towards melee classes. When Naxx finally drops, how far ahead will melee be, given that they'll scale better and are currently ahead in bad gear by a huge margin?
I admit to not knowing a lot about how stats equate etc. But the Claw of Cromaggus plus the Ancient Tome out of being Exalted in AV nets you 99 increased damage to spells. Are the stats on the Staff of the shadowflame worth giving up the offhand and dagger? Similarly is it worth giving up the mageblade as well if you already have that combo and instead just trying for the Cromaggus dagger pairing? (FYI, I'm a mage).

It's way better than Hand of Rag for warriors as Mace spec in classic is crap. HoR is also sadly also undertuned. Ashkandi It's an alternative to BRE. It is NOT, and I repeat, NOT a hunter weapon. Too much of the stat weight is wasted. +86 ap is nice but Barbarous blade from Dire Maul has a heavier stat weight for raiding hunters, as the +1% crit is roughly +32 Ap worth and puts it above Ashkandi. No Hunter should get it, ever. A blue weapon is better for them, and the true BiS for hunter is dual wielding with double +agi enchants. Ret/Enhance should be going for the maces for PVP as they dont have the axe/sword spec bonus warriors get.

Had HoR on my fury warrior in Vanilla and tanked when needed with Crul. Seriously underrated weapon. All the MTs passed on it, they were chasing speed. I pulled threat off them all day with this.

When going for weapon skill prio one is reaching 305: This gives you a big reduction in hit needed and also reduce the glancing blow penalty. Then prio two is reaching 308 weapon skill, but this is not nearly as imporant: This doesn't change the ammount of hit needed but recude glancing blow penalty a bit more. This means that ALL mele dps wants 305 weapon skill, and if you can reach 307/308 thats a nice bonus. Now if a dwarf/nelf/gnome gets Maladath they will reach 304 weapon skill. This is NOT enough and they STILL need to equip edgemasters handguards to reach 305. Since edgemasters gives +7, Maladath in effect will only give the dwarf/nelf/gnome +1 weapon skill. However, the humans will go from 305 to 309 (last point being wasted) and effectivly giving humans +3 to sword skill. TL:DR: Maladath effecticly gives 3 times as much actual useful weaponskill to a human compared to other allied races. Your video will misonform many ppl and create needles drama in guilds :(
Druids just werent meant to tank in end game raids and Blizzard never thought they would. I raided resto all through Vanilla and went tank in BC. Yes you CAN tank and we use 2 as needed but comparing to a warrior is a joke.

The 5th point gives you the same bonus as the 4th + an additional 1% hit (actually hit penalty reduction but who cares). That is why 5 is so much better than 4. When you go sword as orc get edgemasters.
Maladath is only good if you ARE human or a Rogue, the +4 does nothing if you don't already have some sword skill. if you do have the +5 sword skill Maladath takes you to +9, just above the soft cap for weapon skill.
yup, it is for HUMAN warriors and non-human rogues. Human rogues already are over the cap at 10 without it and it is useless for them. Non-human warriors get +4 which is also pretty useless. +5 to +8 is the zone you want to be in for a benefit.

Anything that says damage/healing should be considered for DPS casters first. A holy priest should take Benediction any day over Lok'amir as its stats are just strictly better. The shadow priest isn't much different with Anathema, but would get a spell damage boost at the cost of a significant amount of MP5, crit, mana, and stamina. As a priest myself, I have to encourage all my other priest friends not to fuck over your casters just because you can't wait for an eye off of Domo.

You forgot trashloot :) Doom's Edge x 2 is acctually better than Asscandy (especially since 15+ agi comes out before 25+ on 2h) So Doom's Edge x 2 + 15 agi x 2 = 62 agi = 124 ap and 1% crit compared to Asscandy with "only" 84+30 ap and half crit. Peace :)
Ashkandi is better if you have the right debuffs on the boss, BRE proc is mostly wasted on bosses that have no armor and it has a lot less damage then Ashkandi.

The drake talon cleaver is in my opinion one of the best looking weapons in the game.

If you have edgemasters gauntlets, you should be prioritizing using axes over swords for the warriors not using or don't have edgemaster..

Ashkandi is 100% fine for hunters to roll on. It's best in slot for them I dont see why they wouldn't roll

The shadow priest isn't much different with Anathema, but would get a spell damage boost at the cost of a significant amount of MP5, crit, mana, and stamina. As a priest myself, I have to encourage all my other priest friends not to fuck over your casters just because you can't wait for an eye off of Domo.

You forgot trashloot :) Doom's Edge x 2 is acctually better than Asscandy (especially since 15+ agi comes out before 25+ on 2h) So Doom's Edge x 2 + 15 agi x 2 = 62 agi = 124 ap and 1% crit compared to Asscandy with "only" 84+30 ap and half crit. Peace :)

Ashkandi is better if you have the right debuffs on the boss, BRE proc is mostly wasted on bosses that have no armor and it has a lot less damage then Ashkandi.
