If you enter amazon through my link amzn.to/3lhFqKz I get payed a small percentage of whatever you spend there. It doesn't cost you any more and I don't know what you've bought. Many thanks to those that do use my link. Its greatly appreciated.
I have seen a lot of mobile homes moved but that was the only and best way I have ever saw thanks for showing it I will tell everybody to watch this video.
Neat as a pin! And they made it look so easy...When my Mom and Dad had theirs delivered to their lake property about 30 years ago, those guys managed to back it in between trees from a nearly 45 degree turn, and get it positioned parallel to the cliff. Was just in awe of how they managed to do that without cutting a lot of trees. Your delivery guys did a great, professional job, and my hat's off to them!
Wishing you the best in your new home. I can't wait to see it! My dad worked for Iseman mobile homes for years. He would haul them, set them up and rehab the repos so they could be resold. He used to drive the giant "toter" no other specialty vehicles. I learned a lot about mobile homes and hard work from him. My mom still lives in the 1976 double-wide they bought and dad improved over the years. My ex and I had a brand new 1997 Clayton for a time in the same trailer court my mom still lives.
Amazing the advancements that have been made since ours was delivered in 1985. Had a pad like yours minus the concrete. All the work of getting the two haves in place was done by the tractor drivers. Was fascinating to watch the drivers jockey those halves in place. Still have the photo album (no video for us back then - didn't have a "movie" camera.) You're going to enjoy watching them over the next 3 days or so. Both inside and outside as they connect the "marriage wall" and all that entails. (Electrical, plumbing, siding, roof ridge, etc.) Probably even more so today, than it was back then. Enjoy my friend. For a lot of us, it's a once in a lifetime experience. Our's came in in July. Sat in lawn chairs, in the shade, and played sidewalk superintendent. :-)
Well a bit late but know it's a great feeling to see you and your wife's new home delivered! Look forward to see how they squeeze those two big pieces together and make one!!
good luck .My house took 2 cranes to get it onto the basement and house is 2440 sq. ft .Mine is a modular but love factory built homes and would do one again if I ever have too .set price no over runs and not subjected to weather when built and no big delays because of weather .I had a delay in set up also because of rain back in 2004 .My dream retirement home
That is sure a lot different than when they delivered my home 20 yrs ago.lol I’m looking forward to seeing the set-up finished and you getting moved in. If I didn’t live 1000 miles away, I would volunteer to help you move! Phil
When that gentleman said $25,000.oo for that dozier I was already headed out the door do go buy one. I knew that didn’t sound right so I kept watching. Then I heard the real price. $65,000.oo. That sounded much more believable. Neat rig!!
Interesting layout for the foundation. I am not sure where this video was captured but it looked as though there is some red Georgia clay. I like the simple concept of the rows of concrete vs an entire concrete slab. I have a 8x16 tiny home to be delivered to my property in north Florida and the soil base is quite sandy. Therefore, I am thinking about getting some caliche base or some compacting gravel and build some rows of concrete as you have.
Wow you are lucky !I just bought a double wide home and we did everything that they said to do to be able to move the house in properly, and then the trucking company shows up and "cant get it in"but after we paid an extra $7,000 it was all good!always read the fine print lol@
And we had the People in today to do the gas and they were under the house and there Is a large area under the laundry room where all the insulation is soaking wet.these homes seem simple but all we have had are problems. I could go on lol...
ncautoman57 i knew about them and I was hoping they had one. It made the damage to the yard far less than it would have been if they used the trucks to pull them onto the pad.
That was so interesting to watch. Very impressive to see how professional they were. And all without a huge clean up afterwards! Can't wait to see how it gets pulled together. And.........the big question.......with all the rain and subsequent mud, will Brad get to go inside? Stay tuned!!!!
Tend to agree with you. Getting one of those stuck wouldn't be fun. Nor do they want the liability for potential damage if those chassis frames twist too much. Easy to get drywall cracks and worse.
You had to pull the trigger man. It seems to never stop raining around here. You need to spring for some custom wheels! 🤣 Glad to see it on the pad finally.
Ive been around mobile home business all my life,my dad has pulled them and set them up for 37 years...my grandparents had a business since the 60's...uncles had there own businesses through the years...so yeah....
It’s mind boggling the amount of rain we’ve had, then we finally get a few days with no rain and decide to take a chance and have it delivered. That morning it started raining again even though the chance was only 10 percent. It’s finally here and the damage was far less than I expected.
Have I said "Welcome to Texas"? The first couple of years in the Houston area we lived in SW Houston. It seemed like everytime they said 20% chance of rain, we got flooded in our area. :) Yeeee ha an RC tractor, did you get to play with it? :)
Honestly, I was pretty amazed to see such steep ramps for that mover. Having loaded, and unloaded many tracked machines in the past, my butt puckered when I saw that unload and load happening. I can't even imagine how much that machine costs, I'm guessing 20k might be a good down payment on it though.......
That was very interesting. It's good to know that they can minimize the ruts. Did the sales people help you find the people to do the dirt work and concrete work? What do you do about water lines or other utility hook ups? Clayton makes some very nice homes. I'm excited for you, this is really cool!
moviemakerwannabe they wanted me to use their people but I contracted the work out to people I chose. I’m getting the plumbing and electric done for less than half what they were going to charge me. The dirt work was $2000 less than what they wanted. The only thing I’m letting them use their folks for is delivery and leveling it.
This one was around $80,000. Plus about $10,000 worth of dirt and concrete work, then $700 to hook it up to sewer/water/electricity. I sold my old house and payed this house off less than 6 months after buying it.
maples f waskom Texas. I already owned the land. It was 9000 dollars when I bought it a few years ago. Since then , I’ve also bought the home next door and made it my work shop.
I have nothing but good things to say about mine. All the little flaws, they fixed to my liking and it’s been a great home. I think who you buy from is as important as brand. There is a ton of work before and after placing the home that a good dealer will walk you through.
Just think, all those years playing with remote control cars/planes and everyone said it would not pay off. Grow up and you can play with the big boy toys..65,000. toy to be exact. LOL, Nice job.

Danny Dunnagan I’ve know that the “tugs” existed and I’m really glad they had one. It made the job far less messy.
Neat as a pin! Dawn Hernandez it is nice to watch people that work as a team and know what they are doing.
Awesome!!!... I don't know why but I could watch the mule work all day.
qfruge it was fun watching but I’d really love to operate it!
That’s great. Prayers and blessings over your new home. May it’s walls be filled with joy, peace, health and BACON!
patriots1needed thanks! Lots of bacon!
Beautiful home and set up. Thank you so much for showing us how a mobilehome is set up.
jcronk77 tomorrow I’ll record them pulling the two halves together and leveling it.
Congrats, you are one step closer to your forever home. Can't wait to see the next step of pulling them two halves together.
ChiefAUS thanks!
That little mule has some balls!
I've never seen anything on how they does this type of thing. 57 and still learning!
Volusia-ev I can’t wait till tomorrow. They pull it together, level it and I’ll film it.
Awesome I bet y'all are very excited! That little yeller machine is pretty darn cool!

Well a bit late but know it's a great feeling to see you and your wife's new home delivered! Look forward to see how they squeeze those two big pieces together and make one!!
I can’t wait for that part! I’m gonna try not to get in their way
That's pretty cool. Glad things are progressing for you. Looking forward to the next video as always Brad.
northcountry32 thanks. The crew that pulls them together and puts them on blocks will be here in the morning. I’ll record that process too.
Wow! That was cool, never saw a double wide done before. How exciting for you guys!
Recycled Cottage & Garden tomorrow I’ll film them pulling the two halves together.
Thanks for posting this! My double wide is supposed to deliver next week so this gives me an idea. Mine is a Clayton too.
Good luck!
That is one cool piece of equipment. The hydraulic adjustment for the hitch was interesting and I can see why they have it.
walt2t as expensive as it was, it would take a bunch of deliveries to pay it off.
Junior guy on that crew is crying. He will be the one cleaning all the mud off that crawler. Cool vid!
good luck .My house took 2 cranes to get it onto the basement and house is 2440 sq. ft .Mine is a modular but love factory built homes and would do one again if I ever have too .set price no over runs and not subjected to weather when built and no big delays because of weather .I had a delay in set up also because of rain back in 2004 .My dream retirement home
Really happy for you all. But still kinda of sad you didn't end up nearer to me. Can't wait to watch the second crew come in and finish up.
Mistyvalley the second crew will be here tomorrow. I’ll record that to.

OK, that mule thing is the coolest thing ever
Nice work crew!

I’m in Waskom Texas. I’ve been here 4 years now and no settling, no cracking Sheetrock and no doors that aren’t square.
@@bctruck Good for you.
First time I've ever seen one moved like this. Very interesting
Can't wait to see how they put the halves together. Very interesting.
MOblackbird I’ll show that video tomorrow evening. They won’t be here until morning.
Looking good.👍
Happy for you two.
Have a Jesus filled day
Greg in Michigan
Greg Homestead thanks!
It's here it's here it's here! Man I bet y'all are happy for sure!
LOL!!! It’s here!!! It’s still gonna be a week or more before we can move in, but at least it’s finally delivered
Wow you are lucky !I just bought a double wide home and we did everything that they said to do to be able to move the house in properly, and then the trucking company shows up and "cant get it in"but after we paid an extra $7,000 it was all good!always read the fine print lol@

Happy for ya, I know ya'll went thru a lot with this home project...Stress, Nerves, but it's all worth it...Exhale...!!!
Junior D thanks! I didn’t think we would ever get it here!
Very nice! Can't wait for the next video!!
Chris Robinson me too! That means one step closer to sleeping in it!
Did you see that? That lad lifted each half of the house into position using nothing but his thumbs!
LOL!!😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have never seen a remote controlled mover...wow high tech. They sure knew their job. Take care
ncautoman57 i knew about them and I was hoping they had one. It made the damage to the yard far less than it would have been if they used the trucks to pull them onto the pad.
That is every mans dream remote controlled mule!!

And.........the big question.......with all the rain and subsequent mud, will Brad get to go inside? Stay tuned!!!!
Dar La I’m afraid I’ll have to live under it until August !😂
Now the fun begins. Enjoy your new start.
Jessie Harris thanks!
I'd say that the plates wouldn't be to stop the ruts so much as to stop the trailer sinking up to its axels in mud. Nice house welcome home.
Paulman50 thanks! Two more weeks and we’ll be in it!
Tend to agree with you. Getting one of those stuck wouldn't be fun. Nor do they want the liability for potential damage if those chassis frames twist too much. Easy to get drywall cracks and worse.
Really cool the whole thing
That is a nice mule!
I have seen ones like it but they were much smaller & electric.
Congratulations! That was so cool!
topazso thanks Sue!
You had to pull the trigger man. It seems to never stop raining around here. You need to spring for some custom wheels! 🤣
Glad to see it on the pad finally.
Just Plain Common Sense I’m gonna put some mud grips on it so we can take it out four wheeling!😂
Ive been around mobile home business all my life,my dad has pulled them and set them up for 37 years...my grandparents had a business since the 60's...uncles had there own businesses through the years...so yeah....
Wow...that was kinda cool!
Chris DIYer it was interesting to watch. The setting up should be good too. They won’t get here until tomorrow though.
Glad to see it placed!
weetreebonsai me too!
That was cool!! I would have to ask to play with their remote control tank..lol.
ProFreedom556 it took restraint not to ask him. !
Damn man this is cool how they do this!
Good ole Clayton home hu
Congrats. That was so cool.
Did you have a video for the clay pad on ground and how it was done?
No, I didnt record that.
I know the pain of the rain when you're waiting for a delivery like this!
It’s mind boggling the amount of rain we’ve had, then we finally get a few days with no rain and decide to take a chance and have it delivered. That morning it started raining again even though the chance was only 10 percent. It’s finally here and the damage was far less than I expected.
Never knew they had such a thing as a house tug. You could do a lot with that machine.
BKJustice I really would love to play that life size video game!
Congratulations
I would like to have one of those to move the cars that keep parking in front of my house.
Them good old boys had some double wide stomachs at the end
how much did it cost to deliver and set up? did it depend on the distance that they had to haul the home?
Delivery was free, building a pad for it to go on was $7500.
That would be fun to play with can you imagine one of those backing all the trailers to dock doors
Cool. I always wanted to get a video of that, but I was never in the right place at the right time.
I’m glad I decided to film it. I think lots of people will find it interesting over time.
how interesting to see your concrete runners going perpindicular to the ibeams, I assumed they would be parallel
I thought they would be to! I was surprised when they explained it to me.
kool thanks for the vid brad ... †
Nice, can't wait for the next vid.
That was Kool. They don't do things like that here in Alaska
Ak Fred Ward it’s probably to cold for mobile homes in Alaska.
what is the plan number on the house you went with thanks really love it
The model type is cavalier.
Fun to watch sompin' ya never seen before.
454pakr I thought it would be interesting to people for that very reason. It’s not something you see often.
Takes good equipment to do a good job
How far apart were your footers poured?
10 feet.
Wow . . . that was cool! . . . Rog
whoolph I thought so too!
What kind a machine is the we need one like the where I work
Did you get the Energy Star home?
whitehawkproduction yes.
Where do I get one of those machines!!!!
sixtyfiveford you have enough machines that you could probably make one
CSI makes them. They’re called house tugs. They will run you about 40,000-45,000.
@@austinhuddleston4436 more like 100 thousand for a new one

I was tempted to ask if I could give his 65000 dollar to ya go, but thought he might not.
Hey you do got a video of them putting it on the foundation!

JimsEquipmentShed $65,000 !!! I was shocked when he told me how much it cost!
BCtruck, rebuild, repair, repurpose Yea, even more reason not to want to dump it off those night ramps....
We use a similar machine.. We have a translift and a platypus with a remote. We transport amd setup with the same crew.
Super interesting to see, made me nervous though
Ha!! Yeah I was a little nervous too. I’m glad they knew what they were doing!
thanks for sharing!
Congrats brotha! PS, first time I’ve seen u wear a jacket. 😎
Hilltown it was cold and raining,,, but I still had shorts on!
How long did that take?
Moby Dave about 1.5 hours.
great then I will buy that rig LMBO
Whoops I am Moby dave logged in with my game account
Why not a cement pad?

That's an unusual corner window. I have worked at Clayton homes in pa for about a year and haven't seen one like that.
I like it! We have a tall kitchen table there and it overlooks nothing but green trees and my wifes flowers.
lookin good driver
What is that machine called?
I do t know
How much does this house cost?

Very interesting. Like one other commented,,,,, Welcome Home !!!!! :-)
Stedhomer thanks! Watching them level it right now.
I watched them do this across the rd. It is truly fascinating. :-)
at least it aint snowing,lol.... we are going to have record breaking cold on thanksgiving,25 for a high and 11 at night....
roger oconnor there aren’t enough words in the English language to fully describe how much I hate cold.
TODAY is the day! Don't know what's up with this crazy weather. It should still be sunny and high 70's.
cavtroopermunoz I wish! I hate cold weather!
Remote for the land tug....hmmm....not to be confused with the Remote for the TV....LOLO
short grub it was like watching a real video game.
sweet.. great day for ya
its very interesting for sure
New home sweet home smell ;-)
saltyshellback not for long! I will quickly be replacing with a few smells of my own.

paul s That would be a requirement!...lol
That's my dad that put that in I watch a lot of your Td Jake's videos I didn't know you were right down the street
Well at first mine said rd Jake's now it dont lol
Your Dad did a great job and I’m thankful that he was very careful to keep my dirt work looking as good as he could.
Just think, all those years playing with remote control cars/planes and everyone said it would not pay off. Grow up and you can play with the big boy toys..65,000. toy to be exact. LOL, Nice job.
Teresa Dean it was a very expensive video game!
Interesting
It's called a house Kat
They are placing that over dirt??? Wow not good.
calm down! Can you not see the 30 foot long concrete runners??
A mule 4hd is 20k that thing is probably 60k
Its called a " house cat "
The formal term is house tug but yea everyone in the Biz calls em house cats.
