If you're looking for deep technical analysis of the stock. This is not the video/channel you will find that. My personal take on technical analysis (analyzing trading activity, options, price movement, volume, etc for short term gains) is that it is at best, gambling with a very small edge. It is a zero sum game, meaning someone has to lose for someone else to win. People in general should avoid zero sum games unless they are willing to put in a lot of work. I haven't put in that work and I don't plan to.
Anyway, if you are interested in general financial education, then this is the channel for you. One of the reasons I think my channel is unique and hopefully, one day successful is that I cover a very diverse range of content all relating to money. I cover stocks, real estate, airbnb, side hustling, credit card churning, personal finance and eventually I even want to do videos on poker. I enjoy learning about money and I have a general understanding of many financial topics. However, because I'm a generalist, I don't have deep knowledge in any one subject. I just hope that if someone comes to my channel looking to learn about one subject, they end up looking through my content and learning about other topics

it was almost certainly a gamma squeeze. So, was the first rise. Plotkin said as much in the hearing.
What you’re implying is, the announcement of someone leaving a company, with zero news of someone replacing him, caused over 300mlion in volume (5x the available float) in 3 days.
You’re just repeating the same stuff from 4 weeks ago, and going for clickbait by calling it an “update”.
This is purely constructive criticism. If you’re trying to just attract clicks. Keep going.
If you want to create a community; put the effort in.

Hey thanks for the constructive criticism. I admit I don’t pay attention to the options part of trading so the concept of gamma squeezes is pretty much foreign to me. To address the announcement of cfo leaving. I wasn’t saying his leaving alone caused the spike. I said his leaving was a catalyst for a short squeeze and the short squeeze caused the spike. I do see your point that there’s more that goes into it so thank you for pointing that out.

@@JeffreyYamada if anything, it just caused them to short the stock even more. The day after the spike, the short volume was over 33m.
Covering their shorts would be admitting defeat.

YOU my friend have no clue what you are doing or talking about. BUT I think you are cool because you are honest.
THE run up was because options not because of anything else.

I appreciate the comment and feedback. You're probably right that options had something to do with the run up and I didn't look into that aspect because I largely just ignore the options side of trading. However, I'm sure options is not the ONLY thing and nothing else that caused the run up. I should also add that yes, sometime I don't have a clue what I'm talking about. But honestly, no one know FOR SURE why the run up happened. It's all opinion.

no most of us know. The trigger is the in the money call options that expire on friday 26th.
When stock was trading in low 40's thousands of naked calls were sold, the call writers sold calls without shares, started a squeeze due to force buying of shares to cover the naked call options being sold from 50 dollar forward.
dont listen to media, they full of crap.

Bro go to the GME subreddit. This stock is skyrocketing to 100k + per share. Do your research and dig deeper.

I think I understand the general bull thesis. What I don't understand is what would happen if the brokerages and clearing houses run out of money to cover the shorts, whose going to pay the longs? If they file bankruptcy wouldn't they by definition get bankruptcy protection? Also what's going to stop them from limiting buys in order to send the stock price crashing down again? Whatever the case 100k is way too crazy of a target. I guess theoretically that can happen, but maybe its a 1 in a million chance. I would say maybe 1k would be the best case scenario.
Even if it does go to 1k. I won't be mad. I decided recently that the short term game is not my strength. It's not where I get my edge in investing so I'd rather not participate. And if it reaches 1k there's no way it will stay there long term because all the institutional buyers will not touch it at that price. Which means you need to be able to time your exit well and that is too hard in my opinion.

I actually hope this happens. I have cash on the sidelines if GME skyrockets causing everything else to crash and burn.
