The 2021 appropriation Act was passed by parliament early this morning. The NDC had very strong reservations against the proposed COVID levy. Our panelists, Sam George and Kojo Oppong Nkrumah vehemently disagreed on the purpose of the levy. See the arguments. Video... 20mins.

In the famous video that Koko did when he was explaining the budget and all that he told the host do you think because the president said free water so we are not going to be charge for it; and the host was like but you said it's free andt that show. Now he is saying that there is a populace argument by NDC and co that we are paying for the free water and electricity in 2020. Guys see the confusion ooh.
Now he also so says the free water and electricity is a deficit, that who will pay? But you have to pay the water company? Thanks Sam George for the eye opening....

For me don't understand why we don't went to paid taxes, how can our country Ghana develop.
You should first look at the levels of taxation first and the ones that are being added. Secondly, Mr Robert look at the leakages in the financial system occasioning these taxes. You should also be considering the petroleum taxes which I camouflaged as not coming from the government buy ends up with the government. Consider the increase in vat which should not be the case because the government has wasted and is still wasting money on a mind boggling $17000/hr private plane for the enjoyment of the president and his cronies. These are just a few of the taxes that have been levied on all the citizens majority from ineptly managed financial system.
It’s not about the payment of taxes it’s about the story of free water and free electricity which was said during campaign

What sort of argument is this, that we should not pay enough taxes to get the country running? This is ridiculous. JDM chastised Ghanaians for being more interested in freebies. We should psych ourselves to pay taxes to get us going. Would the NDC have introduced taxes to help sustain the economy if they had won the elections? NPP used to give alternative budget statements when they were in opposition. Let the Adongos and Ato Forsons bring theirs for interrogation.

One of the journalists who has the least status in reportage in Ghana is PaulAO.
Stories of these are for 1st year students of journalism. Mr Dumelevo has a reputation u PaulAO cannot come near. But you decided to ridicule him for allegedly having severe hometowns and date of birth.

The audit report of Mr Dumelevo recovered over GHC20 billion which would have gone down the drain. Even though several of these appointees by AkuffoA like Martin Opoku Prempeh and Osafo Maafo are walking freely instead prosecuting them.
KenOA also indirectly positioned some staff of Databank in public institutions like MoF, Sampson Akligoh, Keli Gadzekpo, Comfort Ocran all of BOG, Board members, Ogbarmey Tetteh @ Security and Exchange Commission.
This unlawful practice will provide KenOA the avenue to manipulate govt's contracts in dealing with financial services.
Another embarrassment and unconstutionality is conflict of interest. Thus KenOA and AkuffoA are nieces.
Databank is GOG's brokerage firm. KenOA is in complacency with his role as FM is beneficial to Databank commissions derived from these bonds.
All these corruptibles are facts in the public domain, and journalist like PaulAO never seems to care.
PaulAO should learn from journalists like (late KomlaD) ManassehA et al who have had progressive career over the years limelight on the international scene.

They are referring to them only because failure is staring in their faces and they do not know what to do. We have intelligentia who are not sensible and so biased in their thinking. I remember during Mahama time when debt to GDP ratio was a little above 50%, we got so called economists and financial "expects" moving from TV station to radio station showing their ability in this area. They've all vanished or hibernating till the NDC gets into power. The black race indeed have a big problem. We just can't be truthful.
