I just gave birth to my third baby. I can say, do not be scared. Our bodies are amazing and know what to do. The most painful part are the contractions not the actual baby being born. That's just my personal point of view. It's unbelievable our bodies are able to do this...This, although not easy, is the most beautiful experience of our lives.
As a Medical Doctor, I would like to share some observations: Though I have delivered many babies, I find that EVERY birth is truly a Miracle: it never ceases to amaze me. Doctors, nurses and midwives are truly honoured and privileged to be part of this wonderful experience. We share the happiness and joy with the mother (& other family members). When a baby cries, that is pure music to our ears. Well done and congratulations to ALL the mothers of the world who carry their baby for 9 months: this is an experience that no man will ever know or understand. During the final stages of birth, the body produces a flood of hormones such as Oxytocin (also called the Love Hormone), Prolactin, Adrenaline and endorphins: these are all “feel good” hormones similar to Morphine or Ecstasy, that gives the mother the extra strength for those final pushes, and makes the mother feel happy (on a high), thrilled and enhances the bonding with the baby. Always stay positive, enjoy the experience and all the best for your pregnancy. Stay well!
this is an experience that no man will ever know or understand. That statement shows how ignorant we are, that's why female and male acts with so much pride in life. --- You haven't seen a real Man at all in your entire life. Man knows more than any female in this world. You confuse Man with male, same with Woman and Female. -- Also, not all females can be called Mother. How many females abort their baby and then we call them mother? How many abandoned their babies and then want to be called mother? -- How many females doesn't deserve to be called mother? so, mother doesn't mean to be a Woman.
Pregnant with my first baby and I’m due Jan 6 2025, this made me cry 😭 I’m extremely grateful for the drs and nurses who are truly there for women who need desperate help at this time of a woman’s life ❤
I bet. Getting all my info on the internet bc im a maniac... oh, & didn't think I was even pregnant (a bit late getting all my apts in...) I'm like 2nd trimester in. Maybe close to 3rd. Feeling like my baby is dropping, trying to do the natural dilating thing & im like 😭. I'm scared to do it naturally!!! This other source said it was likely for me to have a c section, again. Bc im asian... sigh. Times like this is such an ahhh bc I never really had much of a mom myself. She wasn't there for my first either. I dont have her to turn to. I can't even ask her how she had us. But I carried my first full term, I think a couple days +. & as soon as I started blotching I called the hospital like uh yeah. No really, it's most likely the time. I couldn't even tell if I was having contractions but I didn't have "shooting patterns of pain." They had to force my water to break. But this baby is def not acting like my first. Def didn't have this much pelvic pain b4. Even tho ironically, I think I'm smaller/ the baby's smaller... my 1st brat was 11 lbs 10 ozs, I think :/. She was lengthy. I sporadically reminisce about my compare and contrast thing & legitimately talked the hubby to sleep. :/ the green prob helped him tho. Also, I doubt I'm having twins. But the inet being the internet.... u said twins? Me: 🤨😑 I mean... thats cute for other ppl. But plz gah, no. I don't even care if I have another girl. Just had my baby 3 weeks ago and it was the most painful yet the most amazing experience of my entire life. Immediately after birth I just looked at my husband and said “I could do that again” not because it was bearable, but because it truly was the most magical and empowering moment of my existence. The euphoria from pushing out a child is not explainable. & the moment that baby was placed on my chest, my lord, I would do it a million times over again.
The only thing I’d recommend, do not get the epidural. & if you do, do not let them lay you down flat on your back. It can cause the epidural to shift upwards, only numbing the upper half of your body, causing you to not be able to hold yourself up or breathe, & then you still feel everything down there. If I had known that this was a possibility, I’d have saved myself the trouble. Despite what some believe, the drs CAN support you in different laboring positions while you’re on an epidural.
As a male i can only see or listen about their\mothers experience but can't even imagine how it is , in studies it shows that a human can only bear 45-50 mpq of pain most of human are below 50 mpq but in labour mothers experience on average 50-55 mpq pain . Imagine average is 50-55 mpq sometimes it reaches more than 55 mpq . It explains why our Holy book says even if you made a pair leather shoe for your mother by peeling off your own body skin than also it won't be equivalent of even one drop of her breastmilk .
I’m preparing for a natural birth of our first baby in April. It’s such a huge commitment but I’m trying to educate myself to overcome my fear of the process. It’s amazing what the body can do!
No, why should we? No woman has to take this pain and if they willing do, they’re just selfish egoists because they only want to continue their bloodline. Let me tell you what, no one cares about your genes!
Fun fact : Burned alive is the number one most painful physical activity, the second is giving birth, which only woman know how it feels. Mother are so delicate yet so strong. Reading all your comments, and hearing mothers statements about giving birth made me feel motivated to make my mom happy. The pain they have to deal is not only when giving birth, but also when their children rebel and broke their heart. So as a child of our parents, lets make them the happiest and proudest parents of all time 😁
"Burned alive is the number one most painful activity, the second is giving birth." Okay, just...this is nonsense. Any time anyone tries to compare the pain of two experiences, especially if they have not actually _had_ both, you should probably ignore what they say. Pain is a completely subjective experience, depends on tons of factors besides the source of the pain, and few people remember the actual sensations of a painful experience even more than a few weeks after it's over. But comparing being burned alive to giving birth in particular strikes me as not an accurate comparison at all. (Speaking as someone who has given birth.) I mean, no one can actually say what it feels like to be "burned alive" anyway--they're dead.
This is so amazing how women can refer such painful and difficult experience as the most amazing one, women are so strong❤️ 18 weeks pregnant and can't wait to meet my little one😊
I feel so bad because my mom went through all that and I have a big head so I might have given her more pain and I am so ashamed that I still make her sad, I will make my mom very happy. I want to be reason for her sole happiness.

@@samarafernando7966 The whole process of giving birth is hard, hard work, constantly paying attention: first checking contractions intervals and duration, then paying attention when you need to push disregarding the intensity of the pain which at this point should be at its peak and after the baby is born, waiting for the placenta to detach which is also extremely painful. By this point specially if the whole process was slow and took many hours, you are completely depleted of energy, cold (all your energy went to the birthing process so your body can't generate warmth to keep you comfortable), and extremely sore. I have always admired women who can sit down and walk right after they have a baby. I couldn't. But every woman have different experiences for some women it is a positive experience for others the complete opposite for some it is unbearably painful for others almost pain free and all the possible nuances imaginable in between. Also if you have more than one child, every time will be different from the last. The whole process is unique for each baby born. But yes, giving birth was at least for me the most physically and mentally demanding and challenging thing I ever did. It took me long time to recover and go back to normal. Also if you have the possibility, wait at least 2 years (more will be even better) to have another baby not only because you need to recuperate but also because taking care of the last baby is very hard work too. No need to become overwhelmed with so many babies all needing attention and care in a short period of time. Apart from the baby (or babies if you have more than one) your daily life continue and there are things to do: cooking, cleaning, tons and tons of laundry, grocery shopping, pediatrician's appointments, bills to pay and dues to remember and of course, work. The babies don't come with a salary of their own to pay rent or mortgages so we have to think of that too.
@@damini4444 ,pls don't think over or seen other pain ,because everybody body work own type .so be relax and stress full and enjoy every day of your pregnancy with sweet moments and mood swings and capture also these moments.these all moments are very precious 💕.take care and God bless u.
The most memorable experience of mine when I gave birth 2 months ago...despite all the hardships of pregnancy and giving birth vaginaly its worth it when I see my baby.
Was assisting w/vaginal delivery during my OB clinical rotation (just holding one of mom’s leg) this week and I held it together until Baby was out and then I started blacking out lol. Thankfully I didn’t hit the floor. It was an amazing experience!
I had two c sections and feel that I did not miss a thing...when those baby boys were placed in my arms were moments I will never forget. Thai moment is what it makes it all worthwhile....they are now 30 and 27..both strong healthy men and I am so thankful to God for both of them.
Thank you for these visuals and opening discussions about such a special experience. After accompanying many births, there are a few differences that I’ve witnessed: 1) the shortest labor I witnessed was 15 minutes, and many less than 12 hours. I’ve also witnessed many go beyond 19 hours, which often indicates a need to consider the alignment of the organs (especially the uterus with the fetus inside). It’s quite easy to realign soft tissue, if one has those competences. It also indicates a need to consider the position of the baby (which can also be supported through competences and understanding of maternal movement). With these considerations it’s possible to create the conditions for the baby to reposition and come down further (without force or manipulation of the person or the body). 2) Understanding pain and what kinds of pain are communicated when baby is in particular positions can be a useful competence to help guide our actions (or inactions). 3) The supine position or laying on the back can be restrictive to opening up parts of the pelvic bone structures that need to be mobile to work together with the baby, rather than restricting the movement. 4) An episiotomy (cutting the perineum) can often cause great trauma to a birthing person, so considering movement can be a much less traumatic approach to making more space for a baby to be born. 5) I’ve witnessed many babies be born without the assistance of pulling the head. Being taught that this assistance is necessary brings nervousness to care providers who have never witnessed the autonomous ability of the baby to go through the expulsion phase without this assistance. I’ve witnessed the person giving birth often have an instinct to catch their own baby with great precision when invited or left to do this on their own. This becomes interesting to see the person perceive the internal rotations of the cardinal movements from their own insides, and know precisely when to reach down and catch their own baby safely (having more perceptual awareness than we do on the outside). These are all fascinating to explore. I am offering courses to professionals and parents to better understand these mechanisms and to develop the competences to understand common complications.
I am a science student but trying hard to overcome all the hardship experience shows face by women .. It's the most precious commitment from all the mother's in the world.. . I can't even watch it.... the pain they would feel... Can anyone help me to get rid of this fear... to help mother's in the future
Oh my God. Now I got know how much pain I suffered. God helped me so much in my time to give birth my baby. Please prospective mothers just remember your God and this will be easier for you. Believe me I didn't even cry during my labor just remember your God.
Which god are you referring to? The one who said to Eve "You will give birth in pain!" Thus condemning all women to experience extreme pain and suffering for eternity in an unbelievable wicked and evil act of raging revenge right before it threw her and Adam out of paradise? That one helped you to give birth to your child?
@@lavinamontoya8164 don't all animals give birth in pain ? I am not very familiar with this story but god is indeed a genius way our bodies are made whoever god is.
Just gave birth to my 4th baby. It’s amazing what your body can do. You can minimize the pain during the labor by trying to relax the entire muscles of your body and by breathing. Praying for positive experience and safe delivery of all the babies ❤
I am 10 weeks pregnant and can't wait to meet him/she 🥰 Before I went to the doctor and only assumed my pregnancy because of nausea and sore breasts, I was really not ready and only thought of medication... But, when I took my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and saw the fetus there, I got very emotional and wanted to keep the baby. At my second ultrasound at 8 weeks, I also heard the heartbeat and home I cried because the emotions of a baby developing there were amazing. Then, and also before, I started questioning Google about every fukin thing that I do and eat if it's safe 😂 So as an upcoming mother, the feeling of having a baby is very beautiful.
I have seen the actual delivery video and I almost fainted, this animated one is still bearable, I am nervous than my wife since I have to be with here in the room, I hope I can be a good supporter since I have very low tolerance of seeing blood.
Also very informative to women who have never had children like myself... I’m 40 never had kids really. So it’s interesting. Thank you for sharing. Hats off to all you mums who’ve gone through this and bring life into the world in place of those who cannot ❤
I was 18years old when I had my 1st baby. I was in labor all day, I only had some discomfort in My thighs, 6:30 pm my water bag broke, it took awhile to get to the hospital and by the time they got my undressed and on the table I got the Earle to push and couldn’t stop, by the time the Doctor got there he could see her head nothing was going to stop her at that point, she will be 49 in June❤️🙏❤️🙏
Mamma, I am just scared as hell but crying as well for my mumma , I am her third girl baby, yes still she treats me like a new born baby , and after watching this I love her more, I am Lucky to have her 💕
The only correction I would add is this: every delivery is different! Take all time estimates with a grain of salt. I was 3.5 weeks overdue, induced, and was in labor for 97 hours! I had a forcep delivery and never dialated past 3 cen! Good luck!
Thank you for sharing. It is worth taking time estimates with a grain of salt. I’ve accompanied labors that were less than 1 hour and other that were a few days. With labors that are intense and over a day, it was often insightful to pay attention to the tonus or tension of the organs and soft tissues around the uterus AND the position of the baby. With some relatively simple movements it has been possible to change these factors and witness the baby be born without complication. It is not very commonly taught to look for these factors because it is often believed that there’s nothing we can do about them. When we have other perspectives other approaches are much more welcomed and beneficial. I hope you have/had access to informed care providers who could debrief this experience with you in an empathic and compassionate manner, if you wished for that.
Everybody praise mom and doctors or nurses for performing delivery or parturition no matters they deserve respect for it but iam dam emotional crying with joy when the baby delivered ,oh this one is so emotional salutes to all moms ,love you mom ❤️❤️

As a RN for 30 years, PLEASE TELL EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY THAT "10 CENTIMETERS IS ONLY 4 INCHES". Even if you told them "10 cms., they heard "10 inches". On a personal note, all 4 of my children were breech; one was butt first/vaginal delivery; the next 3 were transverse and would not turn. I told everyone that I was "planting in the dark and I lost bearings of which way was up or down.
This is God's mystery of his creation... who can understand it? Who can eliminate the swift pain women undergo during this moment. Blessings💫 to all mothers who go through such experience. You deserve everything good life gives. Love and Respect for you mum(s)💖
Despite long and painful labors (over 36 hours), my babies failed to descend and I had to have c-sections. It was horribly disappointing, for years I felt I'd missed out on one of the most incredible experiences of a woman's life. I felt as though I had "failed". I got over it, though. My daughter gave birth vaginally to her son without any trouble.
Needing a c-section doesn't mean you failed! It's still major abdominal surgery, and they're a necessity sometimes. Not to mention, since most women are more afraid of a c-section, be proud you got through it.
@@hannahb7038 Thank you. It was a long time ago, I'm a grandmother now. One of my daughters had a c-section for a breech, the other had a vaginal delivery. But back then some women made comments to me like" you are lucky you got to do it the easy way", which really bothered me at the time.
@@8698gil That's just ignorance. I've heard people say similar things nowadays. It's not the "easy way." It has a longer recovery and like I said, is a major surgery. Nothing easy about that.
@@hannahb7038 No, it sure isn't. But, it was a long time ago, my childbearing days are long past. People who say things like that have never experienced major surgery.
I had 7 vaginal deliveries which included my twins with the second one being breech (little country hospital in Australia). Yes I was one busy mama and yes each one hurt like h*ll & I had NO epidurals. I want my gold star now 😂
7 unmedicated vaginal births here too! I truly believe most women are capable of the same but we have been indoctrinated with so much fear surrounding birth that many don't even want to attempt it or think they can't.

U guys are amazing..we mothers around the world always thankful gratefull towards those trained midwives and doctors who assist deliveries
Do vaginas really expand that much or are there exercises necessary to be done. Ignore my youtube channel name 😝 i am a 32 weeks pregnant woman.
@@JohnCena-og8nj they do expand naturally that much, after recovery it's adviced to do some exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.

Thank you for these visuals and opening discussions about such a special experience.
After accompanying many births, there are a few differences that I’ve witnessed:
1) the shortest labor I witnessed was 15 minutes, and many less than 12 hours.
I am a science student but trying hard to overcome all the hardship experience shows face by women
.. It's the most precious commitment from all the mother's in the world.. .

Got goosebumps in my body...
Salute to all mothers
I have had 2 babies naturally. contractions are the worst but once it comes to pushing honestly that part isn’t so bad.
Oh my God. Now I got know how much pain I suffered. God helped me so much in my time to give birth my baby. Please prospective mothers just remember your God and this will be easier for you. Believe me I didn't even cry during my labor just remember your God.
You're so brave
Hats off to mother's for because of them we came into being. Undoubtedly this is the reason of placing paradise under mother's feet
Thanks to the woman who created all human life even though it is painful.🙏
I am 10 weeks pregnant and can't wait to meet him/she 🥰
Before I went to the doctor and only assumed my pregnancy because of nausea and sore breasts, I was really not ready and only thought of medication... But, when I took my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and saw the fetus there, I got very emotional and wanted to keep the baby.
At my second ultrasound at 8 weeks, I also heard the heartbeat and home I cried because the emotions of a baby developing there were amazing. Then, and also before, I started questioning Google about every fukin thing that I do and eat if it's safe 😂
So as an upcoming mother, the feeling of having a baby is very beautiful.
How is your little baby doing now? Have you figured out the gender yet or waiting for results..?
why there is not mentioned, this is the only time women receive a 10cm or more diameter cooks, normally they cannot
This is my last month of pregnancy I am also preparing myself for normal delivary plz pray for me❤️

Mamma, I am just scared as hell but crying as well for my mumma , I am her third girl baby, yes still she treats me like a new born baby , and after watching this I love her more, I am Lucky to have her 💕
Absolutely amazing what a woman can do!! ❤️
Episiotomy is performed in me..I m.happy that this helped to deliver the baby quickly
Best animation video I have found so far! 🙏❤

Never understood why they grab the head/neck of the baby and pull. Why not the shoulders?
As a RN for 30 years, PLEASE TELL EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY THAT "10 CENTIMETERS IS ONLY 4 INCHES". Even if you told them "10 cms., they heard "10 inches". On a personal note, all 4 of my children were breech; one was butt first/vaginal delivery; the next 3 were transverse and would not turn. I told everyone that I was "planting in the dark and I lost bearings of which way was up or down.
On Breech position was ur delivered vaginally? ...

Really I greatful salute to every women and doctors
I want my gold star now 😂
God loves you 🙂

7 unmedicated vaginal births here too! I truly believe most women are capable of the same but we have been indoctrinated with so much fear surrounding birth that many don't even want to attempt it or think they can't.
