@@SamuelBlack84oh PLEASE. He is talking about Near Dark on almost every convention, it's far from forgotten. He literally gets asked about the same 4-5 films every year. Escape from Absolom, that is one of Lance's bigger films that rarely gets attention.

He had also a beautiful voice when he was more younger...and his American accent is moderate. I saw him again recently in the movie "Profile for Murder" (1996), same period than "Millennium". He was very charismatic in his mid-50s .
After all of Ripley's heroics while trying to save Newt, the kid would've been most certainly sucked into the void of space, if Bishop would not have grabbed her, all the while being half destroyed himself! Also, Bishop very honestly informed Ripley that Burke instructed to take the alien specimen to the company labs then Bishop crawled thru the tunnel remote piloted the ship hovered the ship around when the platform got too unstable and also complimented Ripley for her courage He was almost at the level of Arnie's Terminator in Judgement Day.
love his down to Earth attitude .... his charisma and acting skills are breath taking watch Gunfighter Moon that part was played by a guy who has so much 'passion and love' he portrayed a father that was deprived of his child painful, to watch as the plot unfolded ... PRAYERS that film was real
Happy Birthday Lance Henriksen. UR incredible legend. Me, and my younger and older brothers, we love Alien VS Predator. Its awesome horror movie, even Alien vs Predator Requiem. We watched all of them...! Prometheus, Alien Covenant, Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, Prey, Predator, Predator 2, Predators 3, and The Predator 4. All. I can't wait to see the new new alien movie. Tarzan is amazing, I love Disney movies. They're great. The Terminator is totally awesome, I seen all of them, we did... part 1 is pretty kool. Hard Target is great action, so astounding..Me and my older brother, we love Mass 1, 2, 3, & Legendary Edition. Alien games is hardcore, pretty badass. And Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is also badass. UR amazing, Lance. Full support. May the Peace be with u Charles Bishop, Kerchak, and Admiral Steven Hackett. From Harlingen Texas. Yes and he seems to get a lot of limited part roles in some bad movies later on in his career. That’s a waste of his wonderful talent. Really wish he was more exposed.
Great interview ! Wonderful actor, and appears a fairly normal guy, unusual for ' name ' actors. So matter-of-fact, like talking about working in Safeway produce department.
This guy is one of my favorite actors..i saw him in alien but the move i liked him in a move called hit list with Jan Michael Vincent...lance played the hitman that also works in a shoe store...this was the first time I saw a desert eagle... lance had it...he was the coolest bad guy I ever seen. Big up lance....always one of the great ones...
I have a personally cherished photo of Lance and me from about 20 years ago when he was in Sweden. He liked my thundercats t-shirt. He was genuinely a really nice guy.
He's a very good actor and a very good potter, too. His biography is amazing. I so wish for a concluding 4th season of "MillenniuM" or a feature film. It's still possible, Mr. Chris Carter, Fox television.
The real VOICE! Wow...a Man's Man...last of a generation. Lance is the ultimate example of a working actor w 253 credits to his name. Just great in Jennifer 8! this is the coolest hollywood actor i ve ever seen in real time...no wonder he works so much...he is easy to be around...there are usually 10 other actors that are up for parts...you hire a actor that is cool
I read somewhere years ago that James Cameron originally intended Lance to be the Terminator. I'm glad that never happened; his career would have gone down a different trajectory and may never had gone on to play Frank Black in Millennium (Fox, 1996-99).
Well, I joined the Marines out of family tradition, but Aliens (and Heartbreak Ridge) helped steer me into that choice. I just wish his favorite moment was watching himself play the piano in Hard Target, or anything out of Man's Best Friend.
Renegade Geek definitely! Yet I met him last month and I can understand why he likes San Antonio! He could do stuff like this in Tennessee! Do you know of any events he's going to next?
Renegade Geek of course! He has said in the past that he always loves to do Q&A because he loves to have longer chats with his fans! That's the great thing about him!
I think I read he was at conventions in Europe but that could be old news. I'm limited to Texas and hope he comes back. Interesting reading that he auditioned for the Terminator and was in the running, and the other script for aliens 3 that featured Bishop and Cpl Dwayne instead of Ripley. Although many would argue I think I'd rather have that movie.
This guy is such a great and charismatic actor.
Im in love with his voice specially as general shepherd
That Is the dude who voiced as General shepherd from call of duty modern warfare 2
And the voice of Admiral Steven Hackett, Alliance Fifth Fleet from Mass Effect trilogy.
And Thomas Magruder from Gun.
And General Tesler from Tron: Uprising and Lockdown from Transformers: Animated.
And Carl From Detroit Become Human.
Mass Effect and Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Love those. It is the shit. 👍
Lance Henriksen: nothing but love and respect for the man. Legendary actor, legendary human being.
Did he really play an alien in the aliens movie?
@@Mastermind-m5n Not really, I think his character (Bishop) is secretly an alien, but Lance doesn't play a growling, bloodthirsty alien

I agree. He simply is epic. One of the greats.
This actor is so humble, he does not realize how much the fans think of him as a legend. What a nice person. 🥰
He has always had a face you take seriously, makes me wonder why he never played more military roles.
He played an officer in Omen 2
He also played a detective/police officer in the first Terminator film
he was the original shepherd from cod.

First time I saw Lance Henriksen was in the movie "Stonecold" back in the 90's. Great movie and he is a great actor.
Someone asked me who I would choose to narrate my life. I said Lance Henriksen. Iconic voice.
Que lindo y un gran actor lo amo.Por que no dan en tv la gran serie milleniun, que bronca da.
Horribly underutilized massive talent.
Yes, I do so wish he could've been used more visibly, either on TV (like Millennium) or feature films, (like Aliens), an absurdly talented actor.
