    I have a 2017 great machine, looks like the new one has more computer control than mine .
    Same drink holder that breaks and won't hold a drink. Very powerful hydraulics and smooth without all the computer control
    , air-conditioning works great.

      My limit was towing. I had a JD27 prior and like the bigger machine. I would have gotten a 50 or maybe 60 if a trailer upgrade would not have been an issue. They are great machines.

    That left key position is for heating the glow plugs when cold. At least that's the way it is on the 80u and the position is labeled "heat". 35 may or may not have that

    • @ShaneBurrell1
      @ShaneBurrell1  2 роки тому +1

      Not sure but it appears the 35 auto cycles electronically. If cold when your turn to start it will auto delay the starter. I bet they used there standard switch. Mine isn’t labeled at all in that position.

    • @Jason-zp4ly
      @Jason-zp4ly 2 роки тому +2

      @@ShaneBurrell1 most every machine that has electronic control will auto the glow plugs when key is turned on. If for some reason the auto glow is not sufficient in very cold weather, you should be able to hold the key in the glow plug position. This manual override is also present just in case the auto glow is not working.

    Good luck if you have any issues with it getting Iron Peddlers to fix it! I have a 2020 sy35u I brought from them in Monroe NC. Right after I bought it the thumb starting leaking down, it will flop when not in use. I contacted them and still to this day they will not fix it! That have the worst customer service I have ever seen! It actually cost them a big sale from a friend of mine due to the way they treated me!

    I just got quoted 42,000 without the enclosed cab. Where did you get yours from? I’d much rather get a cab for 43. Let me know please before I close this deal next week

    • @ShaneBurrell1
      @ShaneBurrell1  2 роки тому +2

      Sany has a dealer network and from what I've seen they all have similar prices. I expect 42 is the current price for a non-cab with recent price increases. I purchased mine from Iron Peddlers which covers my area. Most equipment purchased recently prior to parts shortages are worth more than most paid just a year or more ago. Cars,RVs etc are all in similar shape.

      With cab they are around 43k delivered. This price likely recently went up some because of global supply issues. I use it for mowing the yard and landscaping around the property mostly. Find myself using it for something at least once a week.

    I see that they use thin wall tubing to mount the front blade to the base!
    I hope yours does not break off like I've seen it happen on other jobs.
    The machines that use solid iron plate are a lot safer.
    If that blade brakes off while you're sitting on a steep hillside it could be very dangerous.
    Or if you're lifting that machine by 3 corners when the blade breaks off, look out!!!

    • @ShaneBurrell1
      @ShaneBurrell1  Рік тому

      Looking at it I don't think it's going to go anywhere. Looks very similar to my JD27 I used to have as well as the Vio 35. Do you have specifics on this actually happening?

    • @TF856
      @TF856 Рік тому

      @@ShaneBurrell1 yes I do.
      We were working on a job at a refinery and a different operator had to cut a trench across the slope so he used the blade to level the machine as he was digging. It was a small Caterpillar excavator approximately the size of a 303 - 305
      A few days later I was using the same excavator digging trenches on flat ground and the blade fell off showing rust at the brocken edges. Showing in had probably been broken for several days when it fell off.
      They had to take the machine out of service and take the broken blade parts off of the machine and welded them all back together with a bunch of reinforcement before putting the blade back on the excavator so that I could continue working.
      Since then I always notice what kind of material they use on the dozer arms on excavators!!!
      One dozer arm was broken completely off and the other one was broken most of the way off.
      I can't believe tractor companies didn't research that area to realize how weak the tubing would be on something like that.
      Cat uses thick plate steel on some of their models and tubing on some of the others.
      Anybody who has a machine with the tubing should reinforce it!
      When it broke the time that I was operating it I was not putting a lot of down pressure on the blade but it still broke from earlier damage!!!
      The broken areas were at the crossbeam between the two arms that holds the hydraulic cylinder connection.
      When they welded the dozer parts back together they had to put long pieces of steel plate welded to the bottom side of both of the those arms for reinforcements.

    • @ShaneBurrell1
      @ShaneBurrell1  Рік тому +1

      Looking at the Sany it appears mostly if not all machine welded. Not sure what may of happened on the Cat machine. I've seen some rust on some grey market machines that had salt exposure but my previous JD 27C and the new Sany the blade is a lifting point and I'd trust them to stay attached.

      Unfortunately, they will likely see your money regardless of what brand you buy. My particular Sany was made in Georgia. The bucket and quick coupler is by Paladin. Most of the controls and hydraulics are Europe made. John Deere, Case, Agco and all major players have factories in China. There isn't a machine you can buy these days that won't happen with, but at least in the Southeast if you buy a Sany some of that money is supporting a working family in Georgia as they have a major manufacturing plant there in Peachtree City.
