Who needs a 3rd rows? I can't help but wonder which families in the North America are having 5 kids these days and actually need a 7 seater?! The average number of kids per family in 2020 in the United States is 1.93. In Canada, the average number of children per family is 1.1. In fact in China, the average number of children per family was 1.18 in 2020. India reports an average of 2.22 children per family. So if we assume the average family is having 1 - 2 kids, why would the auto industry be so focused on 7 seaters? OH yeah it's just marketing bigger and more expensive and more profitable SUV's that no one actually needs Of all the 3 row SUV's that are being sold, I would love to see actual stats regarding how many buyers actually use the third row! I would much rather have a smaller SUV with 5 seats, more fuel efficient, and ultimately more cargo room! That's plenty for 99% of the families out there!!!!
I have 5 kids, my oldest son is a big giant 6’3 tall boy, my 2nd is 6’1 tall, my 3rd girl 5’6 my 4th baby boy not as tall as his brothers and sister yet but he’s getting there, and the last baby is 4th grade. Driving Escalade ESV really help me a lot to get around since all of my boys play sports. Where I live most of moms drive big 3rd row suv and most of them have at lease 3-4 children and their kids definitely play sports. When you have more than 2 kids that play sports A big car, big leg space, big head space with a big trunk really is a necessity and necessary. And that’s probably why, where I live the price of preowned big suv like Cadillac Escalade ESV, GMC Yukon XL, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Chevy Suburban is pretty high because this cars is really is a high demand car. :)
You can have family members as well. Just so everyone can be together for short or long trips. Helps save on gas cost as well with one or even two less cars traveling.

I'll stick with my 2024 Genesis GV80 3.5T AWD Advance Plus. The price tag was $84k, but it was worth the price for the amenities!

Carpooling with other families that have 2 kids...we drive once a week instead of 5 times and having a 7-8 seater helps take 7 kids to school
