it’s been great being an editor for Visionary Decks! i know i wasn’t an editor for long but i had a great time and this community is awesome. RIP LoR :( it was a good run! maybe you guys will see me on thevisionaryone… who knows 👀
It's sad that i just found out about you late last year and it's already over. Really enjoyed your decks and personality. Good luck for the future man.
I had a great time watching your videos. For the records, I reached masters with your "Valley of Imitation" / Cobra deck. Proof that fun doesn't have to mean uncompetitive. Wishing you the very best for your future projects.
Your channel got me into LoR! I didn't play it for too long, but I continued to watch your videos since you were technical, interesting, educational, funny, and so much more. Wishing you best on your future endeavors, I'll be be sure to tune in!
Your videos were always a treat everytime they showed up and I will genuinely miss all of the great content for LOR. Wishing you the best of luck for any and all vids.
Im so sad I found your channel so late, started watching a week before the news broke about PvP :( I’ve loved everything I’ve seen so far and can’t wait to see your future videos :)
Loved all your content so far man, and it was a great ride! Your videos probably had the best quality and editing between all the LoR creators so I'm glad you're still going to give us a few more videos at least.
Thank you for all the content on this channel. It's a shame that LOR went down this path, but on the other hand I'm happy that on this journey I ended up discovering your channel, with very funny videos and very interesting concepts of decks and games. I wish you all the luck in the world and I will continue following your content on the other channel. Thank you for being this cool person who thinks about the safety and quality of the content created. Keep strong
Man this is the first good bye video that really got to me, when I first stumbled across your channel(back when mogwai had first moved onto Marvel Snap) I could really tell your channel was prepped to pop off and grow really quickly. I think you may have only had 2-2.5k ish subs back then so maybe it wasnt as quick as i thought but still real consistent growth and it showed in the quality of the vids too. I have basically no interest in minecraft at all and wish I did so I could keep following along at least a lil bit but I'm sure I'll keep tabs here in case you ever do decide to come back and make some videos for fun or whatever. Wishing you the best dude and hope you can pop off in the minecraft scene!
it would be devastating for me to lose all the good time I have here. dude, I would follow you to ROBLOX if necesary. You actually made days of mine to be better when most needed. all my love to the visionary one.
hey, we had a good run. I can't help but think that if they had been willing to do literally any advertising for this game it could have been huge, but it is what it is. Thanks for all the good vids mate. Minecraft is great but its not something I tend to watch on YT, though I wish you success there! if you ever picked up slay the spire, beyond the obelisk or really any other game with interesting combo design potential I'll be back for sure
They said "This upcoming set will be the last card set we release in the way players are familiar with." - this is no meaning, there is 1 last premade set, then nothing. Right now each set have something between 50 - 60 new cards with 3 new champions. What I m expecting is new sets will be have for example only one new champion and 15 - 20 new cards.
That's what I was expecting as well! However, the new director for LoR recently clarified in a tweet that after the next expansion, new champions will not be balanced for PvP, and aren't even guaranteed to release in PvP...ever. twitter.com/RiotShen1138/status/1753223301894422931
i will miss breaking the economy, skrinking, and thrifting, but im happy to hear you wont leave youtube! excited to see you enslave entire populations in minecraft :) also that thank you to those who stayed up until 4am 😢 we hear you bro and it was always worth it 😭
Damn, I did not want to watch LoR new at that time because it'd just echo chamber my thoughts about it, so I ended up missing your anouncement 😞 I can't say I was here from the start of this channel, but I can say I enjoyed every video since, I always love to watch a game being played in a way that wasn't intended by the developers and your decks and videos were such fun ones, I'll for sure miss them. I'll follow you for whatever you wish to create from now on, and hope that one day if Legends of Runeterra comes back after, that we can get back to it too without the fear of it just disappearing again
Will stay with your content for your humor. I love playing Deathless Yuumi Gwen so thanks for the amazing fun decks and funny videoes. Rip LoR, the best card game ever. I'll keep playing though, probably for a long time
biggest RIP is probably predict not shuffling anymore. Hopefully they patch things with Zilean or Ekko having powers that shuffle on predict for their predict cards?
This is sad, i have been playing most of the decks you put out (that i can afford to make) for a couple of months. I'm mostly interested in the funny decks, so i will not go to the minecraft channel, but i wish you luck, i hope you can make it there, with a more consistent game :)
I think you should do another card game like hearthstone I'd love to watch you play that and make busted meme decks there, I have been doing it for years and still play it
I'm personally not interested in Hearthstone, and I believe that game, as old as it is, doesn't have much time left on UA-cam either. If another card game comes out that I'm excited for, I'll be back!
You've earned your spot as one of the most creative LoR deck builders of all time. Your curiosity in discovering new interactions and combos is unrivaled (except by me 😉). If you discover a card game that lets you cook as hard and freely as LoR, please let me know about it.
Visionary love u! So sad to see so many creators go I know you said you arent interested in other card games but Perhaps you could check out other card games like Hearthstone !
I personally think that the shift to focusing on Path of Champions means that they can make more use of LoR to tell some of the smaller stories, like how Path of Champions was originally
Honestly, I'm really sad that so many pvp players are just done with the game. We've honestly got at least a few more months worth of cards to play with and I really want to see some rallying from the community to be like "no! We're not abandoning this thing we love. We'll find our own way to keep pvp going" I want LoR to survive. MtG had so many community run formats that have helped the game survive its worst metas in sanctioned formats and have helped revitalize the game. I wanted the community to create something like aram in lol or ultimate bravery. Something that anyone could easily do. But I guess in today's day and age, a game that isn't competitive isn't worth keeping. Games are meant to be about fun. Not just winning. This games community is what made it fun, and I hate to see so many of the community leaving the game that they love so much instead of trying to find ways to keep having fun
I agree! I would've been happy to continue making videos if the rest of the community didn't abandon the game so quickly. For me, the fun of LoR is about the deckbuilding, not about the next upcoming tournament. But, there are a lot of players who don't share the same sentiment, and from what I can tell, PvP is not going to have a lot of players left by the end of the year.
@@VisionaryDecksthe elder scrolls legends is a ccg that went through this same development ages ago, maybe even as far back as 2018 that they went into maintenance mode. Queue times are still around half a minute to this day. Its insane how long people hold on. (I dont play often anymore, though). All the youtube scene for the game is gone though. It's probably a wise move for your career to let this channel go, but you probably still have at least a year left in which you wouldnt suffer too much of a loss or even gain a load of viewers that all come streaming in from the bigger channels that quit. I would think you have your biggest growth potential now, but it obviously isn't sustainable. Your vids were something else. Other LOR content creators don't get to me in the same way and we value the same thing in card games, creativity. I'll miss you, even though its for the best if im not pulled to youtube as often. I wish you the best of luck, you're going to make it big.
"You can't point to one of my videos and say that's not for kids" - terrorist who holds opponents hostage with shellfolk and Akshan infinite decks, LOL. Sigh, really going to miss out on these truly visionary decks. Digital LoRcana when?
The sad thing for me is, when i really need quick cash. the news is up right after i posted my account on sale, no one wants to buy LoR account now, even if there is the price go down to the bottom.
The PvP actually suck. It's because we as player need to face infinite possibilities of card that enemies use. The gameplay that provide was really one side make benefit for player that has newest card rather than old cards. I think Riot should revive old card to make it playable. I remember my first ever deck, copy from another LoR UA-camr that already quit (i forget his name, he quit since Bandle City exist, not Mogwai). Draven Jinx discard aggro deck. And then i love to control type deck. My original deck, lissandra braum trundle recall control deck. It's to counter Ahri Kennen that meta in that time. And after that i quit because It's really fast they update the game and i can't keep my card to the meta. Ah good time wathcing Snnuy, Mogwai, GRAPPLR, Luckycad, and other. Love it the time that passed.
I love your deck videos, sad what riot is doing to one of the best CCG ive ever played Maybe to not let the channel entirely die of runeterra maybe doing subs tournaments, subs deck reviews, specially after the 3 last champions get released, i really want that sylas to come out
Hm, I think I would still like to see your opinion on the New Expansion and your ideas! I mean yes, lor is kinda dead, but it's not shut down. It will still he available for the occasional soll Decks. Maybe the meta will even relax so much, that's it's all fun and games. A game doesn't need to be constantly improved to be a good game.
Honestly I think their decision to focus on PVE was a dumb idea by them, I can’t think of one PVE LOR UA-camr. PVP was the way to make the game grow regardless if they make more money with path of champions right now. So sad to see this game we all love start slipping away 😢
I agree. Regardless which gamemode saw the most unique players, as well as the most playtime, the fact remains that PvP was the only thing keeping LoR UA-cam content alive. It was literally free marketing, which is what LoR needed the most...without the UA-cam content funnel, how are new players going to find the game? Not a smart move in my opinion.
Why don't you stream Magic: the Gathering? That is the grandfather of all the card games like LOR, and, at least for me, seems like much more balanced and sophisticated than LOR...
Magic is such an old card game, I'm sure it's very hard to break into as a brand new content creator. I'd like to invest my time into a UA-cam channel I can potentially go full-time on, and I really can't see that happening with Magic...

I spent around $100 on LoR when I started playing a few yrs ago, mostly as a vote of support since I was having such a good time building decks and learning my first ever card game, and eventually reaching top 100 masters a few seasons ago. Unfortunately I was probably one of the few PvP players that spent a considerable amount.
Definitely, the game needs to make money at this point...I just can't believe how nonchalantly they're dropping the ball on PvP, as if it was Ultra Rapid Draw or something. That decision is completely unreleated, and I have a feeling that's what irked most players who are quitting the game. Even if higher quantities of players play PoC, I have a strong feeling the most devoted players are more interested in PvP (partially because that gamemode has been around for so much longer). PvP literally makes up 95%+ of all LoR UA-cam content, which means they're basically just pulling the plug on LoR content creation as well. I have a feeling Riot underestimates just how many players they're going to lose once the UA-cam content machine powers down, and nobody's talking about the game anymore.
@@VisionaryDecks I think content creators were genuinely the heart of this niche little community. Some decks would blow up out of content creation and end up having a major impact on the meta, other times it could inspire others to deckbuild their own specific techs, or card distributions, or new decks entirely. And as you mentioned, despite what the numbers may be on PoC, the fact remains that people overwhelmingly wanted to watch LoR in a PvP setting. So now that that's out of the picture, I can't imagine the PvE playerbase would maintain interest for very long (hopefully I'm wrong though). One more thing I'll mention (not getting into it here beyond this point) is that events resulting in _hundreds of thousands_ of shards for essentially building any future decks you could possibly think of [though fun creativity-wise] certainly didn't help in the case of monetization.
You've made a Huge impact on myself and other runeterra players with your incredibly fun decks!!
