- Have you ever wanted to take a Latin Dance class but didn’t have enough time? In this podcast, Latin Dance instructors Ricardo Loaiza and Elba Garcia prep you to dance the night away! Once you’ve practiced all three dances, find a local Latin Dance club or bust these moves at the next school dance! Wepa!
This lesson incorporates the basic Salsa steps we learned before-forward/back, side step, and cumbia (or ½ swing)-but adds a new sequence of three steps that combine to form the cross-body lead with a follower’s turn, ending with a leader’s turn.
This was so beautiful to watch. Thank you @Ricardo Loaiza
Good and easy instructions in dancing. Please try to make the Five --ish with level 3 and 4 and so on. All enjoy your easy way of teaching Ricardo and Elba and the team. Keep it up. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for your lesson,my husband no danced nothing before, now he dance salsa with me❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lonely. Easy to learn. Thank you
I like this series -- very clear teaching-- but the recap of lesson 1 shows moves that were not actually taught in lesson 1.
You didn't even teach the turn , in level one and that is confusing to beginners. But thanks any ways for helping
The cross body lead also appears in "salsa en el rondo", or "salsa rueda". It's official name in salsa rueda is "Say to that person "no"" in Spanish - or "dile que no." So if you take a Cuban salsa course, you will hear "dile que no" more than the English counterpart, "cross body lead."
Thanks for dance leasons
great job but you did not teach how to turn in lesson 1. just 3 basic steps
"Weepa" or "Wepa" is an expression which can mean several things. It can be used to stop the Latin music, but it is also a very strong exclamation of party-style or fiesta enjoyment and happiness - that is, you have a positive feeling of energy into your dancing. This is used a lot by Puerto Ricans.
Nice Video. Where can I get the rest of the lessons?
The volume is horribly low!!
I like this lesson, although I could dance salsa, my complaint whit these new salsa dancer they want to compete with their partners instead of lead🤔
Terusalem line dance video
You have to teach man first step by left foot ,woman right foot
