21:28 Oh my god that pink sand contrasted with the lush evergreen oak foliage was just remarkable! I love this area so much, and could never get sick of it! Thank you for another great video in my state, as always!
The campsite looks great up against the rocks like that. Reminds me a lot of some of the campgrounds in Joshua Tree. I can just imagine that night sky there though while sitting around the fire.
That pink sand!!! I’m remodeling my kitchen right now with a southwest theme. The paint is almost the color of the sand. I worried about it first but now I love it. Just have to get some cactus prints to frame under glass and place on the walls. Thanks for inspiring the artist within. 🎨
Oh that sounds like a LOVELY theme! Something about that desert sand color with either blues or greens. Can't go wrong. Best of luck with the remodel! Never much fun when it's a kitchen or bathroom but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. 👍
Very informative! I am planning a trip to Arches NP, but the crowds are intimidating. I am a hiker and photographer, and that hike you took was just about perfect in my book. Really loved the Sand Dune arch area. Excellent job!
The timed entries certainly made things much more manageable. Hopefully they will make a decision to go back to that method so visitors can plan their days accordingly. And yes, San Dune Arch is phenomenal with the way the light bounces off the color of the sand. 😄
Great review of campsites and yes that’s the way to go with popular parks. I cancelled one last year couldn’t get the timing of flights down. I need to figure out this drive. Ways to go from Florida 😊
What an incredibly beautiful place! I am truly a Desert Rat, having grown up in West Texas, so I love your vids so much! But this is now one of my faves, for sure. What a fantastic job you did, capturing all the color, the sky and clouds, and the changing light! Just fantastic! Thanks for all the effort you put into your vids!
Thanks so much! So kind of you! Arches is one of those places that I have to imagine it is HARD to walk away with any bad photos or footage - just such a gorgeous place. 😊
Great video and oh my the views! This must be one of, if not the most beautiful campgrounds anywhere!! From the views from the sites to the easy access to the trails, it amazes me each time you visit there. I never thought I would say the words "man would I love to visit the Devil's Garden" LOL
Our pleasure! We know campground videos (or heck, anything else we do) might not be everyone's cup of tea but we do enjoy making the campground videos and always hope that help out people with their stay or encourage them to go. Happy to hear you'll be going soon! Hope it is a great trip! 😄
Have to tell you, we are planning a trip from the south Rim through several national parks including Mesa Verde and Arches and Big Bend. Your videos are about the best we have viewed and so helpful.
Thanks for the great video review. Outstanding job! I found this because I wanted to see a review of this campground as my husband and I just booked a site for this fall. Well, I was hoping you would show the site we booked at some point so we would know if it was good or not. What a great surprise that we had booked site 51! It was meant to be, and again thanks so much! Just subscribed!😁
To get a Higher Cactus count just add the cactus Fruit. The cactus Fruit could be like Extras or benefits? Your still the Best campground reviewer around Glenn.
Thank you! Glad you like our channel! We include the date Glenn films videos in the info of all our videos as our channel is a hobby and often videos can't be immediately released (only so much time one can take off work 😅). This one was filmed in July of last year.
@@CactusAtlas I didn't see it either. I was hoping to get my jackery charged in the restroom. Thanks. Planning to go next Sept and your clip on campsite tour have been very helpful.
I may be asking before i watch the video and you may have answered a possible question but do you need to reserve before arriving or can we arrive and pay for the campsite?
It is a VERY popular campground and usually full every night so it is highly advised to reserve beforehand. I believe off-season (Nov-Feb) that it is first-come first-served.

Thanks! Right there with you. Really love the combo of colors out there. 🤩

I absolutely see the Joshua Tree comparison! Another place on our list that we want to camp at one day. 👍

This is one of your best. Great job! Love your narration and sense of wonder.
Aww, thank you so much! 😄

Hard to disagree with you honestly. It has to rank up there pretty highly.
Thanks for doing the campground review.. That trail behind the campground looks like a must for my wife and I.. We'll be staying there shortly.

Thanks so much! We love to share and enjoy doing it!
This area is so pretty!! The longest hike I’ve ever done was here!! I would’ve enjoyed camping here
It's a super beautiful place to camp or spend any amount of time honestly. 😊

Thanks so much. Means a lot to us. 😊
4:21 just scored site 53 4 nights, looks great!
AWESOME!!! Congrats! Hope that you have a great visit there! 😄
@ it’s like winning the rec dot gov lottery LOL
Nooooo joke. Most of the hard to book campgrounds we've been to have been pure luck. But 4 days is pretty much a lottery winning jackpot. 😂
Great video. What type of camera do you use to record?
A Sony ZV1 and A6600. 👍
Great Channel and videos! What month did you visit sir?

i don't expect you will remember but do you recall seeing any power outlet in the restroom for charging devices?
In reviewing the footage, the bathroom that Glenn filmed did not have any outlets in it.
@@CactusAtlas I didn't see it either. I was hoping to get my jackery charged in the restroom. Thanks. Planning to go next Sept and your clip on campsite tour have been very helpful.
You didn't show site 50 and that's where I am staying next month lol.
😅 More than likely someone was in the site at the time. We try not to be total creepers. 😂
@@CactusAtlas I get that lol, just wanted to see the setup of the site.
I may be asking before i watch the video and you may have answered a possible question but do you need to reserve before arriving or can we arrive and pay for the campsite?

The eyes have it Cactus 😂
The eyes have it @ 27 minutes in.
I'd love to pitch my tent in that shaded area of site 46. It's hard to think of a better way of communing with nature. 🏜
You and me both! If we ever get a chance to go back we know which site we're looking for. 😄
