WI Inland TROUT on Rapala Lures | Season Wrap Up

My wife and I decided to go inland trout fishing here in Southeastern Wisconsin one more time before the season closure and went to a secluded, super clear, spring-fed pond that holds brook trout, rainbow trout and brown trout. The trout preferred floating Rapalas over spinner baits today. The water is so clear, we were able to watch the fish follow and strike our lures! We also gave a small tour of a historical 1800's cabin that's near the pond. It was a beautiful Fall morning, enjoy the video!

Has that cabin been refurbished or no? Those brookies are purdy .....we have browns and rainbows around here....most of em stocked for kids to fish for................nice job

I’m not sure if the cabin has been refurbished or not, it’s definitely in great condition. We thought it was neat it had so many antique artifacts in it. This pond is stocked too but since it’s spring fed, the fish stay alive in it and get really big. I have some older videos catching some big ones, including my PB Brook trout. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
