Owner Building our own home - Framing second floor, birthday celebrations and lots of beach days!

We celebrate Dane's birthday at the beach, squidding with the family.
Our owner building journey continues as we build the second floor and start wrapping the first floor!
At this stage of the build we certainly weren't rushing the process (we haven't been overly hasty with any part of the process in all honesty). We were really enjoying the beautiful Western Australian weather and spent lots of days at the beach with friends.
Next minute we experienced the most amazing summer storm. Proper flash flooding rain and lightening. Although our house got completely saturated - we were thankful for the water in our tanks!

I'm glad we just stumbled across your channel. We are in the process of purchasing a block, building a shed and living in our caravan just as you guys are while we get the house built. Been in our van for 2 years travelling so will be nice to have a little more space :) Hope you keep the videos coming. Looking forward to seeing the progress.
