Thank you my Brother for the guitar lesson AND for sharing from your heart about our Saviour! I've been preaching for 50 plus years! I'll be back for more!
Thank you George. I enjoy teaching guitar, but I LOVE teaching the word! Nothing better than sharing Jesus with others. Thank you George, and that you for serving The Lord for 50 years!! - Gaylerd
Good morning Shotokanjim, Hey thank you for the very, very kind comment. I appreciate you sir. Just happen to be on here and I saw your message come thru. Made me feel good. Thanks again sir, and thank you for being a fan! - Gaylerd
Good, good!! Thanks for taking time to comment. Just FYI... I am working on a beginner series called "AdventureGUITAR". Should be ready before Christmas. Its for both absolute beginners and anyone returning to guitar after beign away for a while. So spread the worl and tell folks to check out my website... Gaylerd.com for updates. Thank you! - Gaylerd
Hello Bill, I'm up doing a bible study for my Monday morning men's group and just saw your message come across. Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate you and hope you subscribed! Take care Bill - Gaylerd
Easter Sunday led me to your video, I have been studying to be a preacher, but with so many interpretations and misinterpretations these days I'm so afraid I might say something that isn't correct, I play guitar too. Im subscribing. Jesus has risen.
Hey thanks, this really helped reinvigorate my playing. I was feeling pretty stale and finding it hard to motivate. Just had my best practice session in a few weeks. Cheers!
Thats perfected. Luke 2:49 New King James Version 49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
You're funny Gaylerd, I like it. I've just found you and subscribed here on youtube and I think I'll be sticking around. I've been playing on and off for many years but always want to do the big complex things first so I've not progressed much at all and I end up getting bored so I have huge gaps in my playing. I'm thinking I should be getting back to basics with these sort of easier songs while having lots of fun instead of being frustrated and over whelmed by the harder complex ones. I'm finding when writing my songs that the words come better and the tune sounds greater with just a few simple chords and a bit of flare like this one :D
Oh! and by the way.. the song I requested you teach "The dance" by Garth Brooks was a success. Thank you for taking time to teach others how to become a better player, and a better person through music.
@@tymospoelman8175 Cleetus, here's a trick I use...I let the side of my pinky glide on the surface of the guitar to gauge he distance between my strumming hand and the strings. That should help. If it sound like you are muting, you might be. Try that and let me know.
Hi Gaylerd, it's Tyson again. Great cover by the way. I love this song. I was wondering if you could cover "Lover lover you don't treat me no good no more?" I would much appreciate it. Man! I need help with finding the rhythm that sets the bar for the chorus. I hope that makes sense? The beginning of the song is making a beat with strumming, then the chorus kicks in, doing a simple strumming motion, but I can't (for the life of me) match them on tempo. I don't know what pattern to do for the beginning of the song, and the chorus part of the song to make it cohesive. Please help!!!! even if it's just a short video on strumming for both parts. You are the only person I seem to be able to learn anything from. Thanks Gaylerd. Hope all is well with you.

HI Stephen from UK!!! Than you for begin so kind and for taking time to comment. Yes it is a Taylor 814 CE, and I love it. Makes me sound a lot better than I am! - Gaylerd
Whatever Jesus says to do, do it... This is what he said to do in MARK Chapter 16: Verses 15, 16- Jesus said unto them go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. Verse 16- He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned...
Well Toney, God created Adam and Ever perfect, in His image. Think of it this way… they had God’s DNA. Which di NOT include what I call the spiritual “xxx” chromosome. Now obviously, there is no “xxx” chromosome, just “x” and “y”. I’m only using that just for illustration purposes. Imagine the spiritual “XXX’ chromosome represented our “sin nature”. Since God created Adam and Eve in His image, they were created without the “xxx” chromosome, without the sin nature. But as a result of their sin, that sin chromosome, the sin nature, was added to their DNA. That means that every person born after that would have the “xxx” chromosome, the sin nature, contained in them. And God ordained that the penalty for that sin nature, was spiritual death. And the only way that it could be paid for was by living a life completely free form sin. In other words, living a sinless life. It is impossible for us to live a sinless life. That “xxx’ chromosome starts working at conception, just like the “x” and “y” chromosome do. But God loved us so much, that His plan was to send His Son, Jesus, to earth, to live a sinless life and to pay the penalty for a debt we could not pay. Bottom line, Jesus came to pay that penalty for a debt we could not pay. So the question is not so much WHO Jesus saved us from, but WHAT He saved us from. Hope that helps my friend. Jesus loves YOU so much, that He gave His only begotten son, that if yu will just believe in Him and what He came to the world to do, YOU Toney, will be saved from YOUR sins, and have eternal salvation with Him in heaven. That is what we call, the FREE gift of salvation. I encourage you to turn to Jesus today Toney, and ask Him to reveal Himself to you. He will! I hope that helps. Gaylerd
Thank Fly, Glad you enjoyed the lesson, but actually, you and I both need the Bible more than we do the guitar. But I do appreciate you for taking time to comment. Hope you subscribed.

Hey, thank you sir. I think my bad of has been emptied out. And thank you for the kind comments. My first love is teaching the Bible, verse by verse. Playing guitar is fun, but no eternal value, unless I can accompany a harp player... hahah. Thanks again sir.!
FlkyNineVictor sorry ya feel that way but you see how he put it at the end so you dont have to listen though we hope ya will, cause that is what has made a change in our lives for the better, not to be better than thou or religious, just helps to know you are loved by your creator and...there is a lot of wisdom and good stuff in that bible, just gotta get past the stufff that freaks ya out ...the Kingdom of God He will fix everything down here and we have hope after death, and and and much more...
Great guitar lesson. Im an anti-theist so i dont appreciate the evangelism. Its unprofessional and it points out a flaw in your personality. That flaw is that you havent critically analyzed something that you have dedicated your time and energy to. Critical analysis is an important quality in the human condition. Those that dont have good critical analysis skills are more likely to suffer from delusions and information bias and be followers of the same. Every bit of wisdom in that book is available in secular form and pre-existed that book outside of the hebrew biased history. For what its worth i like your style and the wow factor is what interests me in all of the guitar instruction videos. You do it well. Thanks for teaching guitar.
Thank you my Brother for the guitar lesson AND for sharing from your heart about our Saviour! I've been preaching for 50 plus years! I'll be back for more!
