Power-washable breeding cage holds 15 - 21 quail. A rust-proof plastic laying cage makes quail breeding easy and sanitary. Key Features:
Hygienic Manure Tray
Manure tray is deep to collect droppings below the cage. The tray slides in and out with ease to make washing and cleaning easy. Prevent disease by having a system that removes harmful substances, like bacteria, from your quail's living space.
Smart Feeder
Shock-proof, red grills lay on top of feed to reduce feed loss inside and outside the cage. Removable feeding trough hold 5 pounds of feed. Customers claim to save 30% more of their feed with the flexible, shock-proof grills.
Egg Rollers
The tilted, elliptical flooring delivers un-cracked eggs to the roll-out tray below. Removing the eggs from the living space ensures clean, manure-free eggs, every time! Never worry about disturbing your quail to remove eggs! We all know how that can be.
Automatic Drinkers
Refillable, 2.1 gallon, water tank uses an anti-algae, silicone hose to deliver filtered water through an anti-bacterial PVC square pipe to 3 steel nipple drinkers. Drinker cups are attached below the nipple drinkers to prevent bird wetting and to keep the manure dry. The seamless watering nipple system promotes the highest level of hygiene.
Elliptical Flooring
Flexible flooring makes standing, walking, spawning and mating more comfortable. This results in higher egg production rates and fewer feet problems. ComfortplastTM elliptical flooring is used, instead of galvanized wire, to create a rust-proof, safe, comfortable and hygienic environment for your quail.

@@HatchingTimeI’m having SUCH a difficult time getting mine assembled 😭💔 even with a mallet.. the pieces do not fit snuggly together. Every time I think I finally got it, I pick it up to move it and pieces start coming out 😓 I even tried dissembling and taking the ENTIRE thing apart and redid the entire build….. same issue. Any ideas? Do you think I just have faulty pieces 🥺

The Quail breeding cages will have a removable divider between each section to allow an open floor space or divided sections for breeding groups. This is a great feature for flexibility in setting up the space for your flock.
Does it matter if you insert the water pipe from the other side? Left verses right?
So the back and base don't connect where the arrows meet? Odd

It would only be your nightmare if you ordered this unit - truly awful and defective design. Count your blessings you didn't buy it.

If you know you are going to expand, it is the best bang for your buck to go for the 5 layer quail cage! Having said that, you can also purchase a 3 layer then add two more layers in the future. Is it possible with the 5 tier system to remove one layer at a time to clean & replace it?
Whoops, sorry we missed your comment. Our COMFORTPLAST brooders, grow out pens and breeding pens all are interchangeable and can be cleaned separately.
Why are they so short? I like the height to be 18".
With Quail having the natural instinct to fly upward when startled, the cages are designed to prevent injury should they try to take flight.

Same here. I found that I needed to scrape out some plastic at the edges that seemed to be leftover from the manufacturing process and was preventing the pieces from connecting cleanly.

How hard are they to disassemble?
You can easily swap out parts which makes our system very modular. If you replace parts, please make sure to purchase additional mollys as they expand within the aluminum rod during the initial install.
You would never be able to disassemble this defective piece of junk.

Is this work whit jumbo quail
Yes, it does! We are working on larger flooring for jumbo quail but for the meantime, we suggest swapping out the flooring for our KYK Rollers. You can call us at (800) 511-1369 for more details on swapping.

Due to the flooring size of the chicken cage, we not recommend it but customers have done so. You will have to move the watering system a few openings lower so the quail can reach the drinkers.

Answering my own question. Yes, it matters because ofnwhere the hole is in the reservoir. My confusion was because he was saying on the right side when for me, he was working on the left ( my medical/dental background's perspective) 😂
