I do feel like the shaders do make all the blocks really smooth and kinda get rid of some of the supposedly more rough textures
It is jarring. Not a minecraft player, but I love these builds and though I don't understand much, I can see how shaders give the game a different look and touch. It be nice if they could add the rougher details yet keep it just as smooth, like imagine the moss cobblestone blocks with the cobble looking rough and dirty contrasting with the touches of moist soft moss.
I believe its mostly the rtx, since there isnt any depth to the blocks the light just treats all the surfaces like there really flat and smooth, as if theyre marble or something. when they should have some "noise" to help defuse the light abit
None of my shaders do this, sildurs makes it a little smoother looking but its not shiny like this video

RTX is insane. Although some blocks need to be adjusted for it, for example the sand isn't supposed to be so shiny and glossy.

Yeah but the coast looks so dreamy
and also grass, cobblestone, dirt, wood, coarse dirt, grass path, stone, and all commonsensical rough rugged textured blocks. Though from afar, it looks much better, maybe mainly because of the lighting and shading, which fits best for megastructures and landscape sceneries.

i love watching these huge castle builds but i’m always curious as to what the interior would look like and whether they have a basement/dungeon/connected cave escape routes underneath the castle 🏰 i also think water falling from various heights from the side of the plinth the castle sits on would be an interesting feature to add 😁

For that castle I woulda just used smooth sandstone/end stone bricks.
That wouldn’t look as good as stripped birch, but castles are built for defense, not for looks.

I think what makes TrixyBlox different from the other builders is the way he makes sure his builds are alive. He thinks about the perspective of a normal minecraft player and adds thinks like chests, carts and lampposts. This is what makes him special. The attention to the smallest details.
That gate idea with command blocks is impressive! Love the detail that you go into! and cant wait to see more.

I really like the idea to transform a Ravine.
It's pretty to enlarge the ravine, a little Base on the side, mines, glowing Mushrooms, Waterfalls and all over all overgrowth.
Trixyblox and Grian must've had a painful, yet fun time this past week, making those insanely huge castles.

The village sort of reminds me of Whiterun, and when I look at the slightly more elevated platform above the main part of the village, I can't stop thinking about Nazeem.

Honestly you destroyed the world when you didn’t stick to the color pallet he had and instead used spruce and dark wood the whole point was that the world wasn’t supposed like others, which you even stated.
Exactly! He praised how the build used an uncommon palette for medieval builds, and then went and used the most basic palette for his version! He should have at least kept the red roofs, those were very interesting and contributed a lot to the vibe of the castle and town. Obviously a very nice looking build, but kind of butchered the personality of it.
the main castle used the sandstone, sand and stripped birch wood feature which was the majority of what had been made on that guys world, remember the guys world before was much smaller due to Trixy using world edit and making the world much larger, in comparison to the guys 2 islands.

I like how u said that u wanted to keep it practical and therefore made the windmill, but like wheat fields right next to the sea doesn't make to much sense as the salt water would mess up the land and make it harder for plants to grow there. Still looks really cool tho
For someone who really lovess immersion and doesnt know anything about minecraft other than creating a 4x4 room. I would appreciate it if theres more first person tour of the place. :)

I found you a while back when you first started and love your videos. You really have a great eye for building. I have have found tons of inspiration watching your videos. You have really come a long way since the beginning. I am glad I sub'd all the time ago and have gotten to watch your channel grow. Thank goodness people are finally noticing your genius. I have told people about your massive builds for awhile now , when they think about doing one. I say watch trixy ,,, plan it out first so you don't get disgruntled and quit before its done. As a perfectionist, I shiver at the sight of that multiblock wrong-angled road with different height map. It's somehow even more irritating than people going into caves with no torches. And even people jumping over lava with pockets full of first diamonds. It makes me wanna mine ALL this road and fill it with bricks or something.
Next transformation should be the 2 nether structures: Bastions and the Fortress. It'll be cool to see what you do since they spawn with random layouts, It'll also be cool to see how you incorporate the treasure in bastions and the spawners in fortresses. Keep up the good work!
