As someone who has chisel and bits and knows how long it takes just to make a window I can say with full confidence this man has the patience of a immortal god
Yup. It took me 12 hours to make one rose window on my cathedral build 😭 Detail work takes an ungodly amount of time no matter what.
This mod really isn't about saving time, but allowing you to make really detailed builds in much smaller scale, so that cathedral I made isn't from bedrock to build limit height...

5e6 Julian HADDAD you can pick up custom chisel and bit blocks and place them in other places and world edit works on them too.
He shows that around 11:18
Really wish I could've somehow explained that you can copy and paste blocks with the mod and you could've done the roof in about 20 minutes

More detailed than my house
One thing I LOVE about this mod is that it allows you to make very detailed builds in 1:1 scale, so you can make an absolutely jaw dropping cathedral that isn't from bedrock to build limit...
The only drawback is that if you're obsessive about details, you're gonna spend ungodly amount of time on the smallest things. It took me 12 hours to finish tracery on one rose window 😭
Good content high effort, straight to the point, 10/10, would recommend.
He deserves all of the support he can get, most of us can’t even build the log cabin he started with

Chisels and bits is my favorite mod. Honestly I'm pretty mediocre with it, but one of my favorite things to do is create wallpaper! My husband always says my builds are fake because I always create it out of cobblestone, and take the top layer of the block off, and add idk, a singular layer of whichever color block I'm going for, for my house, lol
I also love creating door frames, furniture, and creating detailed windows. It's just an all around amazing mod 😍 keep doing this!

As an architect student, I can say that isn't true at all. We don't just make designs based on how good it looks. We also consider a lot of factors like sustainability, practicality, beauty, structural integrity and etc.
