You are too kind! It's been a joy owning the LC500 and I'm super excited to have the NSX join the stable. Big thanks to Rich for being such a great interviewer 😊
@@coralchopper Thanks. It was a thorougly enjoyable interview to listen to. The NSX V6 sounds amazing too. Looking forward to more updates on the NSX. Cheers!
I've owned an indy yellow 2020 for the last 4 years, but indy + orchid interior is totally how I would have speced mine if i could, theres 3 in the US in this combo (1 in 20, 2 in 21). Also the car really needs a set of downpipes will especially help with low speed fun, the factory exhaust is essentially a valved straight pipe only thing bottling it up are the factory dps. And yeah, oem oil is an acura full syn 0w-40
Totally agree on the downpipe. I've reviewed another friend's NSX who modded his with downpipes and sounds way better than OEM. You could check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/muW2Jwow6gI/v-deo.htmlsi=YF1L1gzSaC42LsUH Thanks for your valuable input - hopefully @coralchopper will read your comment and use the proper synthetic!👊
Dumb move if you ask me. The LC is MUCH MORE car than the NSX and with much better materials and build quality. Yes, the NSX is faster but it's also guaranteed to become a maintenance nightmare once all the hybrid gadgetry goes bust. The LC is also a TRUE Japanese car, fully assembled in Japan unlike the NSX. But hey, if you like the NSX more power to you I guess.
A bit strange.. Joseph seems to have a lot of special cars and different homes as in another video on this channel this LC is compared with a RC-F and GS-F also owned by Joseph and that video is taped in front of another house..Or does he change houses and cars yearly?!
@@RichWithCars not intended as such, I did feel the items to be entertaining. I find it just very surprising to see 2 very similar items posted within a year on the same owner with different cars and houses..
I adore the LC but to your question in 8:55 the Acura has eye pull the Lexus can only match by its self. The two don't compare and yea his point the Acura is so low its unique how compact it is. I love it. Owning the LC id say the NSX has that beat.
@aweful4781 I can't definitely say how the 992 911 compares to the NSX but I did do a review of the LC500 vs the 911 which you can find below: ua-cam.com/video/a6UNmL2Ptpo/v-deo.htmlsi=RVR_0JWWerAxTG3R
LC materials are cheap compared to the older LS460. I've had the leather come off and cracked on the LC500's upper bolsters with 20,000 miles vs an LS460 with 150k miles.
RC F is a better car than LC 500, it's pure racing bred chassis. It has auxiliary cooling, and the TVD is much superior than LSD. Steering input is also much better.
Stop it stop it the RCF is a better car please ..two different class and purpose this is how you know that some of you only read about stuff and don't understand a thing..the LC is a GT car Gand Touring car the RCF is a performance sport car ..two different cars for different purposes.

@@felixkelechi-nwaogu176 thanks for the kudos! Love cars and am in the middle of a midlife crisis, lol.
I've been in love with both vehicles! And the NSX in Yellow is the color I'd want. The LC in Nori Green with bronze wheels is beautiful as well.
Yes definitely agree on the yellow - but not sure if I'd love all that attention. I'm all in on the LC in Nori Green with bronze wheels. 👍

@@RichWithCars Agreed.
An unmentioned thing you get with an NSX is the community that goes with it. It is a very small but amazing group of people.
2:15 I priced out a carbon wing for my LC and the price was through the ROOF! If you buy the REAL deal from Lexus its 18k
For sure... OEM Lexus parts are through the roof. The trunk is $9k.
Wtf?! Insane! I know the CF door sills on the LC are $4500 each!
@coralchopper Bro stop it!
Great video for those of us looking at both of these cars. Thanks
Happy to help! 😄
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Wow, so rare to see someone who has a Gen 2 NSX and an LC500 like me (my LC is a convertible).
Wow! Another person with both cars!? Rare indeed! Congrats and hope you're enjoying both!
Happy to join the club 😊

Would love downpipes and exhaust... but after seeing how much work is involved in swapping out the downpipe, I'm a little hesitant, lol.
Is it the windshield crack or just a reflection of the dash on the NSX? I love both cars in yellow color
@tonyle7311 it's a crack in the windshield as mentioned in the video....
Did Joseph get rid of the RCF and the GSF ?
Not yet....maybe soon tho!
Unfortunately, can't keep them all. So selling everything but the LC.
Very interesting discussion!
@ted6462 yes - not to be compared, but cool to see side to side and getting an owner's perspective
Yes i have thought of the NSX vs LC. The Acura dealer refused to let me TD so i refused to buy. SImple as that.
Yeah... car dealers often ruin the buying experience for lots of people. At least it's not a Genesis 😂
Ridiculous...snobby dealers!
🤣🤣🤣
We appreciate Joseph going thru this midlife crisis so when we get there we know what to do 😂
Happy to take one for the team! 🤣
Lmao! If that's what midlife crisis looks like, count me in!
@coralchopper thanks man!
The NSX interior is almost all leather. The LC is only leather on the seats and the steering wheel (the shifter is still a question).
There's a 2017 NSX on sale right now 33k miles for $93k. I am shocked they're so affordable though obviously you can pay a lot more
Trading in my LC for the NSX. Was hoping they come out with a LCF but the replacement LC will be based on the new Supra.
Yes, unfortunately, no LCF. NSX is a great choice! Hopefully this gave you a good insight in comparing both cars
@ I would like to keep both but I don’t have the garage space. Would feel bad leaving the LC outside. And the trade in value is really good

My NSX is over 8 years old, just oil changes and they are very infrequent, more like $350 for the change. Acura uses Mobil 1.
Thanks for the tip.. prices here in Orlando is usually inflated, so will probably be like $700, lol.
That is a huge crack across the Acura's windshield! Why do their windshields crack so easily??
after which year does the nsx come with apple carplay/ android auto..is it also wireless?
Not sure on the NSX. I think they had it available since they first released the 2nd gen NSX in 2017. Don't think it's wireless.
It's wired, but the $40 Amazon wireless dongle has been working flawlessly.
