Amazing how these buildings are engineered to take these hits like they're nothing, no harm done, even the aircraft beacons just keep flashing...wow
You know why? They were designed as energy colectors they are harvesting electricity from the sky...
Danick, not only that but the buildings have lightning rods on top of them.
lightning always struck the tallest one
Because they are meant to withstand lightning that’s why they can take lightning strikes...
Proof that every Chicagoan says Sears instead of Willis
Lol fr tho. Still to this day.
dude im not even from chicago and i call it sears tower
@@DetectiveConan990v3 Thank you! 😄👍
That's as it should be. 😁

Tall buildings like that all have lightening rods. 100% safe.
That is why tall buildings have lightning conductors to send the charge into the ground, directing the charge away safely...they are meant to attract the bolts rather than hitting some place harmful...check it out..
if you are able to visit such buildings,if you look around them carefully ,you will find on one side or corner or so,huge copper cables going down into the ground...usually its on a corner or maybe even a few corners..sometimes they are covered to prevent it discharging and causing harm.
Wow!!
The Sears Tower has to be one of my favorite buildings in the world
It is mine it is my favorite
Wow! 2:00 was my favorite one!
Absolutely beautiful!
Living in NYC I prefer the Sears Tower over World Trade Center Freedom Tower any day and Chicago I love the Midwest
I saw this cuz I live really close to Chicago, a storm on August 2nd, 2015 was insane!
My birthday August 2nd 😃

This is my theory, lighting is the starter to The Great Pyramids of Giza’s motor.
that would be sick
When do you think it will charge up
Absolutely beautiful!!!
excellent lighting
that is a great shot!
Genial!!! Me encantan estas imagenes... quiero ver masss....
Noticing lightning bolts thicker in diameter now days? Since the one that hit the Vatican, I've noticed this. A bit more than 1.21 gigawatts, there.
Time Travelers!
@@Destrothjaan lol good one!
This HAD to have been on the news
That was quite awesome watching the steaks coming to or from the building
Amazing keeping everybody safe
That last lightning bolt struck something right next to you
wow...wonder how efficiently these buildings are lighting protected.their lightning resistors should be the best....
Skokie is right next to Chicago, I saw this, but a storm a few months later, basically, injured people!
jimmy kuzel i love it 19 most incredible lightning strikes ever it is cool
Incredible video and photography. You should sell your triple play, enlarged and framed. You could make some nice $$$$!
what an amazing design
The power of GOD on display.
Not that powerful if a simple lighting rod can stop it
Wow The Lighting Hit Three Build😅
I Thought I Was The Only One Who Uses Capital Letters At The Beginning Of Every Word

Tall structures generating upward leaders. These come off the very top of structures
Tats Thor !!
Wow
How's this even possible
its called lightning rods buddy
Brilliant!
cool
i feel sad that all these building get struck by lightning so many times. :(
I wonder if they will ever find a way to convert that ridiculously high voltage discharge into usable electricity or other form of energy.
thats exactly whats happening here! why do you think only those three buildings are being hit?
Tesla did it years ago. Yes I necro'd this
Chicago’s weather doesn’t seem normal to me
paused at the perfect moment
When Zeus visit Chicago.
LOL!! good one!😅
Pretty
Thundergod strikes with aganim and refresher orb
00:47
perfect example of the right place right time!!! please forgive me if I sound crazy for saying this, but yo isn't this considered to be a "myth busted", because I thought they say lightning doesn't strike in the same place more than once.
chris shoats I know, that's a myth. It's Super rare but it does happen. The reason Willis, or Sears tower as well as other buildings get hit by lightning more often is because they're designed to attract it and turn the energy of the lightning into energy that the building can use.
A Chicagoan No. Lightning strikes tall structures repeatedly because they launch upward lightning when negative leaders from an IC or +CG move over them.
@@thelightninghunter23 say what now? lol
Hi
Wow look at that....and I believe it because I was video taping it from my window in the Western suburbs...I think that has to be the worst lightening I have ever seen it was literally nonstop and my camera was only picking up the brightest flashes but there was plenty of bright flashes. I have seen nonstop lightening but I still felt like this is the worst its been. I like the ending.
That lightning clearly hates Trump.
so pretty
well now i dont want to work in buildings with antennas now
Dude it's safe
Hoe kan het dat je bijna geen donder hoort
bij de eerste hoor je echt wel een donder he, maar geluid heeft ook tijd nodig om te reizen dus duurt het even voordat je het hoort
Meanwhile in a secret villainous lair....
Hmmm bet they are able to store that energy in Tesla coils and never have to pay for electricity
Why can’t we harness all that lightning to power the towers.
0:01😱
ياالبيه عندهم امطار
I came to compare these strikes to the recent China skyscraper strike Aug 7 2020
Extrém
Mami. Te. Extraño
:-)
God sending us a message
Yes and No, but intersseting Capitel.
Trump is in middle? Hardly even rates lightening wise compared to the big boys
The Wall street journal said 'Lightning Will Have to Strike Twice for Trump to Win'
God heard them and strike 3 times, don't you get it? God can not be mocked.
Wardenclyffetower = free Energy

Its all God .
Turn to Jesus with your whole heart and be saved while you still can .
He is the only one that paid for yours and my sin in full on the cross .
Why am I laughing
Who's here after the lightning strikes in Washington DC in 5th june 2020?
Is this common in Chicago?
Bryce McD Not really. I live there and it happens about 2 times a month I think.
I believe this is on thursday. The day named after thor. The norse god of thunder. Maybe thor is also a trump supporter
I dread thunderstorms. It is not beautiful to watch i should say! 🤦
FYI, it is called the Willis Tower for now
You must be fun at parties.
Chicago Legends Na, I don't think so, it'll always be the Sears Tower.
To Many it will always be the Sears Tower. It would be if the Empire State building had it's name changed to something else many of the locals will still call it the ESB so go figure.
Sears Tower
