The aluminum back splash is awesome and I wouldn't normally expect aluminum to look good in this setting but your wife pulled it off with some creativity. well done! Great job and lots of elbow grease involved. We just purchased a 86 Toyota Class C and it's got that crazy dark wood all throughout. It's amazing how much brighter you made it with the white and light green. The nickel paint idea was excellent too for the lights and pulls. Love the Euro kitchen and bath too. You have a brand new coach now and know exactly what you have. This old MH we bought has the stove/oven combo. It's going bye bye too. The computer table seems to work well.

Thanks, folks. You've done a great job. I picked up a 1989 28' Pace Arrow (Fleetwood) last spring from my 83 year old dad. I traded a 2000 model Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle and delivered it to him some 1100 miles (one way) away and drove the motor home back home. Unfortunately, the road salts and chemicals used in cold climates have taken a toll on the chassis. Nevertheless, this is my project. Since then, I've done the electronic updates on the converter and genset, and lived in it to check all functions. I have the same compartment issues as you have addressed with yours. But, upon further inspection, I'm in a quandry about how far to go with the old "Road Schooner": the chassis is incredibly rusted with other deteriorated elements besides the compartment floors. I am thinking about tackling the remodel/recondition via UA-cam because this may not be a project for all but it may help some that that are. Thanks for your production and organization ideas. I'll keep you posted. Happy Motoring !
very nice job on your motor home. I think what makes it so appealing to me is the fact that you have it set up perfectly for a couple and that I think makes it more spacious without having the slide outs. Great job.

Fantastic remodel. Light, solid colours with the brushed aluminum. Almost every one of these jobs goes in that direction and get rid of the depressing woodgrain and mud brown colours. Why can't the manufacturers of these things take the hint??? They still roll out of the factory looking like something Richard Dreyfus would have built a mashed potato and chicken wire mountain in.

Looks really good. I went with the same basic theme of good clean paint instead of a lot of woodgrain decorative patterns on stuff, except so many cabinet doors in mine were thrashed I went with good clean wood with polyurethane instead of trying to paint them. Mine leaks in a few spots right not even after re-sealing everything but the polyurethane all over is helping prevent the mold and mildew.
