Letting the ground eroded a little takes the guesswork out of water management. Reminds me of Frank Loyd Wright building the University of South Florida campus. He didn't install sidewalks until after a few semesters the school was open. Then they installed the walks following the footpaths the students had worn into the ground.

"Cowpaths" is what my university called them. Students tend to walk in arcs as they approach sidewalk intersections and wear down the grass to bare dirt instead of wasting time following the pavement and turning 90 degrees at intersections.

Funny thing about machines breaking down ( if you want to use that term, because there nothing funny haha about it) they only break down when you’re using them and that’s usually when they are needed most. Seems anymore that emissions are causing the bulk of the issues on machines. Nonetheless, the riprap part of this is going to look awesome when you get it done. Thanks for the update sir.

no matter the job at hand or the machine you use perfection is all ways up most on the list i am sure your motto is do it right the first time and you only have to do it once you are an inspiration for every one to do it right no matter the job thanks it's a pity i don't do Instagram or what ever you call it so i will just have to weight till you let the Excavator out the bag on here for me to finely know but i am leaning towards the Kobelco machine as you did put the larger bucket back on it but ill just have to weight and see thanks for your videos and taking us along to see what you do so well Cheers
