Not at all.. They can’t spend what the real big clubs spend, don’t be surprised if they do a QPR and get relegated pretty quickly.. FFP is even stricter in the lower leagues, this could actually be a massive negative for Newcastle and leave them in a much worse state than they’re in now

My most amazing moment as a fan was when Sir Bobby Robson signed Laurent Robert! And what a signing he was, team just became so good.
Aye people go on about the Keegan era which was great but under Bobby Robson we had a great team as well. In his last 3 years we finished 4th, 3rd and 5th.
And still won nothing hopefully with money behind them they might win something for once the fans deserve it.

In my opinion, it’s a natural subconscious reaction which gives you a window into someone’s thoughts or feelings without the need to verbally express it. She's mooted to have been pretty successful in the City before becoming a deal maker but she wasn't particularly impressive in the Financial Services sector. I admire her hustle, this is a high profile deal, she's hob nobbed with the right people and persuaded them that she'd be an able facilitator. We are just happy to have owners who want to invest, who want to improve each year rather than our previous owner who did the bare minimum to secure PL TV money, who let the stadium and training ground fall into disrepair, who used the stadium for free advertising for himself, who barely communicated with fans, who hired underqualified managers with the exception of Benitez who was only hired to try to stop us getting relegated and then subsequently get promoted back to PL for TV money. Newcastle fans don't expect to win anything, we just want a team that makes a go of it each season rather than just scraping by so Ashley can pocket the TV money

"This squad shouldn't be 19th!" That's Bruce out then. Their squad has been relegation grade for years, its their managers like Benitez and Bruce who have kept them in the league with what's basically a championship squad.
Wilson, Saint-Maximan, Almiron, Willock, Dubravka are all very decent players. An average squad but no way should they be 19th in the league and playing with so much fear.
@@edluacoles They're a top end championship, bottom end premiership squad. Staying in the Prem is a massive achievement for them. Its not so much fear, its a difference in the quality between them and the teams they come up against.

I think she's a very astute leader. A very good asset to the club even without the commercial side. Yes it's big bucks and commercially driven but she clearly does care about the area living nearby and will represent the club well. Those fans deserve a club trying to aim high after the disaster which has been Ashley. Well done Amanda for keeping this deal alive and all the best in your new role. Oh and please try to remember the poor / local charities. It won't cost much in relation to the club's budget but the impact will be far greater than the biggest signings !
Would be a perfect time for Newcastle to go get conte. It’s a project and he likes having money to spend it’s his typical job to take. With conte that gives them another avenue besides money to attract players. With January coming up we will see how ambitious they are in the short and long term
