Bang on. Which is why I've fully supported wor current squad. They aren't the most talented bunch. And Steve Bruce is not a good manager. But this current group of players have worked their balls off for the club. TBH, the atmosphere at SJP has subsided over the last few years...
Having nothing to shout about being the No.1 factor!!
Now, hopefully the Toon Army can recreate those amazing days again in the coming months & years?!!
The spurs game is going to electric at SJP 🔥🔥🔥⚫⚪
It's because we've had 14 years of nowt to sing about!
@jimmy m are you making this a class thing? I love a prawn sandwich and my Dad was an open cast dragline operator lol - it doesn't matter where you are from mate, its how the football you are watching makes you feel, like Bobby once said “It's the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city. It's a small boy clambering up the stadium steps for the very first time, gripping his father's hand, gawping at that hallowed stretch of turf beneath him, and without being able to do a thing about it, falling in love.”
It's not about a team that wins, its about a club that tries.
HOWAY THE LADS!
@@SparkyNwc yeah I remember something about that.
@jimmy m whats a prawn sandwich fan
Howay The Lads! Good Luck to all The Geordies for The Future, From a Liverpool FC fan!
I was in the Gallowgate when he made his debut v QPR...when he scored the winner it was amazing. What a Geordie legend
KK got us... Special times when he was at our club both as a player and manager
The Cathedral on the Hill, when signed for Newcastle I travelled up from Cornwall where I lived at the time, when he scored it was lunacy... can't describe it you need to be there with 50,000 plus Geordies
Newcastle's Number One Adopted Geordie without doubt. Took us so close to success..what days the Keegan era was.
King Kev man I still often think about the days he managed and as a child loving every moment of it :D
win, lose or draw all we care about at Newcastle is that when you put that shirt on, you give it your all.
Current squad does that, no?
@@tomace4898 some do, some don’t. You can tell who wants to be here and who doesn’t
So many players have stagnated and got worse under Bruce. Such poor management.
@@tomace4898 Rafa had them all drilled and they knew their jobs, it’s massively stagnated under Bruce and they’ve lost a lot of the shape and organisation in defence that we used to have
Love Wor Kev, black & white legend
🖤🤍🖤
Absolutely fantastic talk from Kevin. Our messiah. Our king. The best thing to happen at NUFC before our recent takeover. A superb man.
I met KK in Bangkok around 1998, I had been playing badly for my employer Siemens and got friendly with a police man in Thonglor.
A total gent, an honest bloke, I was 30 years old at the time and watched him from the benches at Newcastle.
The real mighty mouse!
NAHHHH... FOR ME PERSONALLY ETIHAD HAVE A GREAT ATMOSPHERE WITH 20K FANS ON THE STADIUM WAS INCREDIBLE
Hamburg Keegan never seen him play but heard he was class
Should be a Carlsberg advert that😂
He just gets it ....
if any man who knows the club inside and out is kevin keegan he should be the man to lead newcastle as he was the only manager that got the club firing on all cylinders i think tho if he was manager again hed show us the glory years again dont need to look else were
King Kev been talking to Howe it would be amazing to see this guy back
Kevin has always 100% understood us fans. Hope that he is given the role he deserves and is looked after by our new owners. After 14 years WE HAVE OUR CLUB BACK.
He managed the "The Entertainers".....an amazing squad the brought great results and a fun style of football to watch! He is the reason I am a Newcastle United Fan! Bring back the great players and connect with the generations of fans!
Keegan would have won the league if they had a world class GK!
Loved KK when he Managed City from 2001 to 2005 his best signings was Silvain Distan and Nicolas Anelka. His biggest mistake in management in my humble opinion, was signing Fastino asprilla great player but wrong signing at that time cost the Geordies the league in 96 for me I'm glad Newcastle got the takeover. Great Club, Great City and people. MCFC
Legend isn’t he… He always tried to get the best players at his clubs because he’s a winner. Great to hear he’s thought of so highly at City too 🔵🔵⚫️⚪️
Nonsense
@@maggotdrowner2940 What is??
King Kev, still a Geordie hero.
Liverpool, newcastle, and celtic have best fans in britain in stadiums, especially since stadiums went all seater and so many big stands were lost.
Must be amazing to be a player playing for your fav club, running out to such amazing fans, especially when your playing towards there main home stand.
Liverpool aren’t even louder than Everton
two words king kev bring him back in some sort of of roll true legend be great to see him walk on the pitch against forest he deserves that at least wor flags get ready
read his book makes you love this guy even more.
Hes special
thank you Keegan you made me love nufc to this day
KING OF THE NORTH 🤴
Newcastle fans are the greatest they deserve a trophy on their performance.
Hope you come back as an ambassador Kevin and I hope the club provide some form of gratitude for all you have done for NUFC, maybe name a stand after you.
Over the years there's only ever been 2 managers who understand what being a Newcastle supporter is all about...Sir Bobby , and Keegan .
Joe Harvey understood the Geordies as much as anyone , maybe before your time though.
Hope they rename the east stand after him
Good luck to Newcastle with there new owners you deserve it from a Watford supporter wish we could get new owners
Legend
Is there a full episode of this ??
I think they've booed some entertaining losses under Steve Bruce! Probably won't now though. Newcastle and West Ham I'd say have the potential more than most in the Premier League to achieve bigger and better things. They've chosen Newcastle.
Please don't think we ever had any 'entertaining' losses under Bruce, our anger/frustration was vented at both Bruce and Ashley NOT the players.
Premier league title is on the way to Newcastle within this decade now.
Now Ashley has been kicked out of Newcastle, King Kevin is definitely going to be welcomed back at St James's Park. Legendary manager who was disrespected by the Sports Direct tycoon.
Kevin nailed it
There is a man who understands Newcastle - both the city and the club.
Bang on. Which is why I've fully supported wor current squad. They aren't the most talented bunch. And Steve Bruce is not a good manager. But this current group of players have worked their balls off for the club.
I look at the side who were relegated in 2009, who were a bunch of football mercenaries; simply showing up every week to collect their weekly wages... I hope those days don't return...
We have the finances now. And we'll get a good manager in. But it takes a special person and player to wear a Newcastle shirt.
One word for keegan LEGEND. Be nice if he came back and managed the club again !!! Why not.
KEEGAN KEEGAN
Kev looking well.
Can’t wait too see king kev back at James park the man deserves a statue!
What did he win with Newcastle?
@@blue_red_screen what do you mean nakka? It’s not all about trophies, what he did for the club/the fans made us believe again and very nearly won the title
@@DYL2020 ya choked a 12 point lead 🤣
@@blue_red_screen we did aye don’t remind is😂 but that team was called the entertainers for a reason, KKs mindset was if they score 1 we score 2 and I get the same vibe under Howe I think trophies will come but it will take time

Third time lucky I would love it if we beat them👀👀👀Kev your our angel 😇 of the north and big alan

Kevin Keegan had the last laugh over sir alex
You can have all your fancy European managers, find yourself a manager like Kevin Keegan loved Newcastle United. So sorry that they never achieved that silverware they were this close to. Remember them signing Alan Shearer and Andy Cole, it's hard to believe they didn't get over the line. It'll never mean anything with Saudi owners, they make me sick.
Newcastle were giving away free season tickets to fill their ground a few months ago
