My sister just tried to do black and orange hair, unfortunately the black she got was a “darkening” color and not a black at all, she has orange and BLUE hair now 😂 it looks great!
She means it's like a "mixing" agent, you mix it in with your hair dye to make it more muted/grungy. Kind of like how you would make a pastel shade by mixing hair dye with a white base, like white conditioner.
If you want to clean your scalp without fading your colors I recommend KMS moist repair cleansing conditionner. I use this cowash and it’s better then shampoo/ conditioner. Leave the hair silky and there’s no fading whatsoever
The as I am co-wash is also extremely gentle and color-friendly
Let's be thankful you tested that out on the wig first before any of us decided to do it on our own hair 🙏

I tried iro iro orange last Halloween and wasn't happy with it. The orange by itself was beautiful but it had yellow streaks in it. After one wash it was barely orange and mostly yellow. Faded so fast.

I 💯 agree with you on the Iroiro oranges being super yellow based. I used their regular orange, not even the neon, on my husband’s hair when I did a purple-fuchsia-orange sunset ombré and after a couple weeks, those orange ends are now totally neon yellow! I mean, it looks awesome, too, just not what we expected.
Everything about your look here is ON POINT. The makeup, the earrings, the neon rainbow hair half up in the scrunchie, I don't know what it is but it's so cute!! And I really like how the wig came out, super cool!
I have 10 heads at home that I practice on and omg it makes such a big difference to use one of the real heads vs the styrofoam heads !!

personally I like that it doesn't look too perfect for the wig because it makes it look more realistic when worn
lmao I attempted orange hair with black roots for Halloween and the black bled down and darkened/toned the orange and now my hair just looks....like my natural dark brown color :/

i bought black dye to do an orange and black split but i talked myself out of it after seeing/reading so many videos/comments on how semi-permanent black dyes bleed like a motherfucker so i went with orange and purple instead. still spoopy and very glad i didn't end up going with the black and orange i feel like i would've regretted it XD

Yes I had the same issue with the Iroiro neon orange, I added a few drops of Iroiro red. I used Iroiro black, but wooo is that a very black black, I mixed in purple but not enough and had to go back in with more

I was disappointed with Iroiro’s neon orange, also. I used it last year for my Halloween hair and it was a cool banana yellow after the first wash. 😂
I would use a dark burgundy to blend the colors, and I think raccoon stripes would look awesome!!

I would really love it if you did a french braiding tutorial showing how to do it on yourself. Getting super detailed in explaining the finger placement. I can do it on other people but get very confused when trying it on my own hair. It's like my fingers don't know where to go hahaha!! I'd love to be able to do the cute two french braid look!

I think it's a great combo. I did it but I had a yellow as the lightest so it went black, orange, yellow and yellow, orange, black respectively
A little mess dont hurt sometime that help us to work better. So yes that wasn’t your best job but it was something. Btw love your hair, you are an amazing hairdresser
i tried to do this style once on my sisters hair, and the same issue occurred. she liked a color that was permanent and a color that was semi permanent. when i tried blending them, they ended up completely different colors, and the ombre was chunky. i think what causes this is the fact that the permanent dye starts out as a white, so its hard to see what you’re doing and whether or not you’ve gotten the permanent dye on spots that were reserved for the semi permanent.

You could Try "colour b4" instead if youre unsure about the black :) its a non bleach colour remover that doenst damage your hair

Can you do a review of all the different dollheads available on Amazon and rate them I'm having a crazy time wit the different quality of each one. They can even be completely different from the same manufacturer ordering the same model of mannequin head. Need someone who has influence so maybe they would make them more consistent

Hello, I need some help. I am looking for a semi permanent purple dye that doesn't fade pink or ble3d too much. My hair people please give me advice. This is the first time I will be using a fashion color. I love Aslinn's colorful hair soo much, so I thought that I'd take the leap. But only a small leap of one color to start with.
