Width: 3.87 in Length: 5.94 in Height: 3.73 in That is an Interstate battery dimension which is the brand we sell here at Marc's Mobility. That's the battery itself and not the battery box , just wanting to clarify that. Hope this helps!
Many thanks for your video. I have an old GoChair. My mother showed no interest to use it. I do not know much about batteries. You mention 18 amperes. My car takes 12 Volt? ? How many Volts takes the G-Chair?
These power chairs and most scooters take two 12V batteries for the total of 24V. The 18 amps mentioned in this video was the size of the batteries. They come in all different amps and that's the size that fits this Go-Chair. Hope this answers your question.
What is the range of this GoChair? What is the longest range it can go if new technology is available? These mobility chairs are tooo heavy to lift and carry if the battery gets discharged too soon.
Up to 8.7 miles at 300lbs and up to 13.2 miles at 200lbs. You wouldn't need to lift and carry the unit if the batteries go dead, you would simply put the freewheel lever into freewheel mode and be able to push the chair just like a manual wheelchair or a stroller. Once in freewheel mode, the unit would move really easy as long as the power on the joystick is off. Hope this helps!
Thanks Marc, that was very helpful! (the manual for my step-moms Go Chair omits most of the information that you have so kindly shared here).
Glad it was helpful!
Great. orator !
Thanks for the video!
I know the batteries are 12v 18ah. Do you know what the series # is?
You are more than welcome! Not sure what you are asking about a series number. Are you speaking about a serial number?
Does SLA1116 sound like a group number. My batteries measure about 3x7x7
Yes that is a part number for the batteries. Those batteries from Interstate Batteries measure 7.13" x 2.99" x 6.57".
What are the dimensions of the batteries in the Pride Go chair?
