thanks to you and welcome!!! I´m gonna post more about moho. Actually I´m working on the next Moho tutorial :) but thanks for your support, you are awesome!!.
I imported something from Photoshop, but can't figure out how to put vector points on my image file like you did with your eyelids. To compensate, I tried making a separate vector layer with the points and then putting it in the same layer group, but manipulating the points on the timeline doesn't move my image's eyelids, even when I am not on frame 0. Any suggestions?
Hey Bemular, sorry for the delay, I'm having some crazy few days because I'm moving. But let's see if I can help you. Actually In the next video I'm going to talk about how to prepare a character in photoshop to work it in Moho. Generally we cannot add vector points to these types of characters since we import them as layers, they are just objects. (actually we can, using the smart warp mesh, but that´s for small movements) so, We can only add bones to them. You were right to create the eyes from Moho so you could have a better control of them. It is always recommended that the Eyes and the mouth be created in Moho. (Depending on the animation). So, let's see. First remember to "convert to bone" all layers. After that you can create the bone that will control the eyes (Reduce the bone strength). Then create a new action from the action panel. And here comes the important thing, position yourself one frame ahead of frame 1. It can be frame 10, 30, you choose. Once you're at frame 30 for example, there you place the bone in its final position, remember this. then in that same frame you close the eyes of your character. In this way the action will be recorded, and you will be able to control it with the bone created. You need to have the bone in frame zero with the eyes open, and in frame 30 with both eyes closed. If the timeline is moving and not the eyes, you are almost there, just repeat the action. You can see other examples in the Stitch video, here you will see more examples of face expressions. ua-cam.com/video/um_xZQy3L9k/v-deo.html Look at minute 7:13 That will help you see other ideas. Let me know if you were able to make it. And sorry for the delay in responding for real, Any questions, just let me know and as soon as I can I will answer you. Have an amazing day!!
Hello! Thank you for the very helpful tutorial 👍 I want to ask, in 3:50 how do you enlarge 1 click on the bone because when I 1 click on the bone it is very small Thank you and sorry for my bad English 🙏
Hi there Bantalnasi how are you! :) Oh, to enlarge a pin bone like the one in minute 3:50 , you have to use the "transform tool bone", or letter T. (is the second icon of the bone menu on your left). So. to Enlarge it: In the timeline go to frame 1 for example, then with the transform tool selected, just click "command and drag the mouse over the bone to enlarge". in windows I think is Ctrl + Drag,, or windows key + drag. But you have to be on frame 1 at least or it won´t work. Be careful if you are animating because it could change the size of your character. 😃😃😃 let me know how it goes and have an amazing day!!

Hi, I'm a newbie to this stuff, I have a PSD file with all layers separated as PNG images but to make the animation I have to have them in vector format right? And how to do it on moho?
Hi there Francesco, nice to meet you. Oh If you have a character made in Photoshop just save it as PSD and import it into Moho. Check this video on minute 0:32 to see how to import it ua-cam.com/video/YjzXeOAHWHY/v-deo.html you don´t need to have it as a vector file.
@@JayBlackCult Ok thanks, and one more thing, please. To create the eyelid movement with smart bones, do I have to have it as a vector? Because as a PNG I don't have that trace. @@francesco3990 Hiii there Francesco, good morning!!!. oh It´s ok, feel free to ask 😃 so, for the eyelid, yeah if you have it in vectors it would be way easier. If you have an eyelid as a PSD you could try to animate it using the mesh, (frame by frame) but that would be more difficult to do.
