  • The campervan trip around Cornwall continues and I hike from St Agnes to Perranporth! It's a lovely walk along South West Coastal Parth. It was a brilliant hike and I'd love to do more of it in the future. Perranporth beach is also fantastic!

That sounds great. I only did a few small sections of it. I can't even contemplate how great some of the other sections are.
      Certainly worth doing.

Walking from St. Agnes to the coast in the direction you’re going, you might have been better going down the footpath that passes Stippy Stappy Cottages, you’d have avoided half of the road. And it’s a beautiful short walk.

Oh and Perranporth beach looks long from the coast path, you have the main bit, then the bit behind the bit that juts out is officially Perran Sands beach, which you can’t get to when the tide is in, unless you go up to the dunes. And walking to the other end of that gets you very nearly to Holywell Bay beach, with the old Penhale army training base splitting the two beaches.

I just walked that route today.
It was a lovely day but my Pedometer said I had done 49.14 miles ! 🤔

If it was actually that far I'd have died on the attempt 😀
