I usually wash my hair every 3-4 days and sometimes only once a week. I shampoo twice in order to get rid of oiliness; if I've gone a week between washes I sometimes feel like the roots need a third round of shampoo (very small amount). If for some reason I'm washing my hair two days in a row, I'll only shampoo once because unless it's got a ton of product in it (which is unusual for me in the past few years), once is definitely all it needs.
I’m getting to where I can go three days now. I used to only be able do an every other day wash routine. But I’ve noticed once you figure out your perfect combo you don’t have all that excess buildup.
I only wash every 7 days, so i shampoo my scalp twice & gently then bring the soap down my ends. (I love using the products you research & suggest, its helps my silver hair transition)
That makes sense with only washing once a week. I’m sure that helps break up the sebum and buildup on the scalp. Thank you for sharing. 🌟💎 Shine On! 💎🌟
Another great video. I wash twice. With having scalp psoriasis, and curly hair…. I need to shampoo twice. If I wash only once, I’m lucky if I get a day before my scalp is greasy. Washing twice I can go 3-4 days, sometimes 5. Which tells me I’m not getting my scalp clean with one shampoo. My hair has a lot more body and my curls are more defined washing twice. 😊
Hey Joli! As a curly silver, my hair is dry, never oily. Have hard water, so use a filter and Malibu c for hard water about every 2-3 weeks. I use the seen shampoo, and it gets my hair squeaky clean. Have tried shampooing 2x, can't tell any difference. I only use clean styling products, and hair is chin length, maybe that makes a difference?
Nice. I find that need to go in twice when I’ve been trying out product not in my normal line up. So cleaner product lines would definitely be a consideration. Thank you for sharing Jane. 🌟💎 Shine On! 💎🌟.
Same. I feel like that’s pretty indicative that the first wash didn’t break everything up enough. It might be a myth but I really don’t care. Thanks for watching. 🩶

I know that has to help with your scalp conditions. It can be so annoying to have a good washday go bad just because your scalp is irritated.
Yes! So true.
I shampoo twice since I use minoxidil. I want to be sure I get any buildup off my scalp.
That’s a good reason too! I didn’t think of that, but it would be needed. 🌟💎 Shine On! 💎🌟.
@@QuickSilverHair yes. It is nasty product but seems to help a little.

I follow the rule, if your shampoo doesn't lather up on the first, it needs a second go ❤
