Going to definitely try this out i have been looking for big empty eyeshadow Pallette for depotting and they are really expensive so this is really helpful
I have an almost used up A4 book, i will now keep it. I have sticky back plastic too from recovering some cabinets too. So might give this a go. You are brave doing it on video for the 1st time x
I love this. im going to do this. im very heavy handed but even I cant mess this up. reminds me of being at school when I had to cover my text books. Thank you Briony big thumbs up
@@BeingBriony I remember you’ve said in the past that you save boxes from some of your mystery / subscription / advent etc unboxings so maybe a video on how you re-use them as storage or as gifts for others. Or any other storage etc you are planning to re-purpose from other items. Also possibly making jewellery or re-using old jewellery for decor etc X
Aww thank you! My motivation was working out how many z palettes I would need when I de-pot my jeffree star palettes and I would need to remortgage 😂😂😂
I'm so impressed! When I clicked on this I was expecting you to fill your own diy palette! To make them is amazing! Well done you! Wonder what brand you ate referring to 🤔xx
I'm curious. The typical magnetic palettes are nagnetic clisure as well. What method would you use to ensure secure closure? Would making a frame of the magnetic sheet and adhering it under the DC Fix, cover edges and top of lip, work?
I realise this is a year later, but I just had to say 'thanks' for the video. I had to scroll through the comments to find out what company you were hinting about at the end of the video. I only found out about Ofra a few months ago, and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do, as I adore their stuff and don't know what to replace them with. I want a similar-quality, made-in-Canada/US brand... that doesn't do what these ... folks did.
Hi! I was curious if you ever have made a multi layer palette like this? I believe they call them shadow books or what not. I want to buy one but if i could make it that’d be amazing!
You could do it using the back and front but i would think a divider woukd be helpful to stop them smooshing together... I'll rack my brains and see what I can come up with....
i have a question, when you close this palette does it shut magnetically because i dont think you have magnetic effect at the corners of the palette. I might be wrong too
I hope you find this useful, its definately a lot cheaper than buying a magnetic palette

@@BeingBriony yes you did well. Definitely think I might have to give it a go x
Love a depotting video. Hope your going to be doing 1 xx good to see you back
Yes I have 10,000 jeffree star palettes to destroy 😂😂😂😂
I think you have done a fantastic job. I wouldn’t be trusted with a sharp craft knife. Love the sparkly sticky back plastic it looks gorgeous xxxx
Yes i shouldnt be either but i escaped this time round
Thank you so much. Very useful. I used an old journal calendar that has a beautiful cover that I couldn't make myself trash.
Amazing! They are so expensive x
Great idea! I was going to buy one of the 4 in 1 ones from eBay might try this
I'm not sure of the price of the ebay ones but this is certainly cheaper than buying quite a few brands x

Yes the worst that can happen is that its a bit wonky, but it'll still be functional xx
Fab what a bargain!!! Such a great idea if you have magnetic shadows!! Xxx
You can also do it with non magnetic ones you can get little squares or circles of metal with sticky on the back to stick on non-magnetic pans x
@@BeingBriony ooh fab looks lovely!! You done a great job 🥰🥰💗💗xxx

No it doesn't but its a book so it stays shut plus you can hold it upside down open and nothing falld out x
@@BeingBriony thanks dear
77 years to make 🤣🤣🤣. I think I know the brand / person you are talking about - amazing shadows x
It took about 3 hours over several different days 😂😂😂
