What sounds did you use to create the main melody?
It is 2 patches layered. One is a standard piano playing in octaves, the other is an Alchemy synth patch called Keys / Fantasia Frets. The piano layer is the main element, the other is just in the background to add shimmer and depth. You can emulate it with any patch sound halfway between an electric piano and an 80s or Trance bell. 👍
@@TheHorseValse thank you very much! I was struggling for a while to get the melody sound of Ecuador. From all Ecuador covers I’ve seen and heard so far, your version is the closest to the original. Still, the original melody that Sash! used in Ecuador back in 1997 is still a distinctive and unique one. I know that they used many different hardware synthesizers like the Nord Lead for example, and Sascha told me once his favorite manufacturer is Korg. Again, thank you 🙏 I’m gonna experiment with the two presets you’ve named!

All for free, follow the link in the video description! If you don't have Logic Pro, you still can copy the melody from the video and use the stems as a reference! 👍
Also, Korg M1 and Korg Wavestation you might want to look into. There are VST versions of these 80s synths. The main melody could be one of the Keys/Piano patches from these synths.? A lot of 90s music is made with disregarded, cheap 80s gear. I love them all! I wish I could buy them all! 🙂
