Thank you for posting. Have been thinking of swapping out my 8.5 year old battery for a couple of weeks - not letting me down but stop start hasn't worked for ages. I figured better to be preventative than be stranded. Am planning to swap soon and am glad to find a video that looks exactly like my 1.6 HDI. Was just checking on the tools needed and on my car the bolt securing the flange is T30 rather than T27 in case it helps others.
Romain
Thanks for this legendary video which was very well done! It can also make a person very depressed as an owner of a C4 Picasso with such incredibly inconvenient battery access.. haha
@@paulpaul0422 2.0 The air box is in the front, and I have removed it. It is not difficult. If you look closely, it is easy to remove. I will take a video and upload it next time.
If the battery is old, lead sulfate occurs, making it difficult to remove the negative terminal. In that case, if you mix water with baking soda and apply it to the negative terminal, it can be removed without difficulty.
Yes, it's okay. "-"It's right to take out the terminal first, but it's difficult because of the structure. "+" You can wrap it with a fabric or something so that the terminal is not cut short.
The connector doesn't seem to come off because it hasn't been used for a long time. The battery can be removed without taking it out. It's just a little cumbersome and time consuming.
@@gups1974 Exactly this - this is why the engines are now under the windows and dashboards on such cars. Makes them difficult to work on but the space inside is great.
Thanks to you I managed to change the battery without problems. Thank you very much 👍🏻

Thank you very much. By the way, was the video in real time? What a difference to my speed.
Yes. The video is a real-time long-take.
Depending on the worker, it may take about 10 minutes or an hour like me.
Hello! Thank for sharing this video, could I know did you use the Uninterruptible Power Supply while replace the battery? Thanks!
no. I just worked with the power turned off.
Sir, do you know how to remove the airbox? Thanks
