Nah, it's a combination of both. The SUV could've let them over, but instead didn't and blocked them from merging. Cammer looks like they may have thought that had room (probably would have if they were faster)

Yep. If you have to get into the other lane, it's your job to do so safely. No one needs to let you in. I've had to go a mile out of my way before because I couldn't get over in time. No big deal.

Honest to god it’s not even blocking a merge it’s just making a miscommunication or possibly the late realization that someone needs to get over and you wanted to be polite and stop and let them over but you realized a bit too late. No one here crashed but everyone looked hella confused on everything going on in a small portion of time.

There is no one ahead of the car as it approaches the light. This was definitely purposeful. Especially because they hit their brakes as soon as they saw him merging behind them

The most obvious way you can tell that it's not deliberate is that if they wanted to be an asshole they could have been a lot more effective at it.

That is not what happened…
The Trail blazer short stopped to let the filming guy in, not realizing the filming guy really wanted to get even further over and the filming guy realized there wasn’t enough room to maneuver to their desired lane. The guy filming should’ve realized that it was a good try but he’ll just have reconfigure how to navigate towards his destination. And for the second time (where as ppl are clocking it as karma) is simply another situation of the previous situation but this time round the Nissan actually had plenty of room to get into the lane they were aiming to drive into and the trailblazer was careful enough to not cause an accident.

You are right, some people are from out of town and don’t know the roads or sometimes buses have fixed routes and have to change two lanes after checking a bus stop. There are definitely reasons why some people need to change lanes at the last second but yeah it’s not good.
He was lucky, I'm from this town and recently someone was shot right there at the McDonald's for road rage.
Actually the guy slowed to let you in, but then Travis slowed too so he sped up to make space instead...either way I can see the was trying to make a space.
It seems that the driver of the Trailblazer may have been trying to help, but braked too late to be of any help. Or just trying to mess with the cammer, who knows.

I always let people over when they put their blinker on and wait to be let in. The road would be a better place if we all did that.
I usually do this also when I can also. after all, it would be a pain if you missed your route and have to drive over more and more miles just to reach your destination, just because somebody kept on blocking you in the lane next to you.

Travis should not have even been attempting such a rude and risky maeuver to cross all those lanes in such a short distance. There was also a solid line there. So keep going and merge left when you are able and it is safe to do so. But this does not fit with most people's thoughts today, they say fu everyone, I'm coming over now!
The solid line is another turn lane. That is the way this intersection is designed. He is taking the second turn into a business park. This happens everyday. Driver did what he was supposed to do but the trailblazer driver was driving like a dick. I know this area well.
Not karma, Travis should’ve planned a head or just used the next turn around. It called lazy planning and not taking responsibility for your own actions Travis.

That's not merging, that's trying to change lanes without waiting for traffic that has the right of way. He probably braked because the POV car crossed into his lane and was trying to avoid an accident.
If you're in the wrong damn lane and can't safely get over when want, then you continue on and get over when you can, then u-turn if needed. Stop blocking traffic and creating problems for everyone around you.

I know this intersection. Guess what sign Travis ignored. No left turn at next intersection. This area is notorious for this. He was supposed to sit at the light and turn with the light. Not use the merge lane and try to skip three lanes. This is Travis fault

Take it from someone who’s lived in Colorado their whole life, that’s colorado drivers for ya!
First of all, the camera car was being a dick. If your left turn is too close to the interstate exit, then you go up a block, do a U-turn and come back. You DON'T slow everyone down to a crawl because you need to get over three lanes in the next 20 yards. Especially in rush hour traffic. This should be common sense.
There are many poorly designed roads like this one. There is one near my house. Plenty of driver do the “get out of my way” maneuver accelerating and changing lanes without signaling. Don’t know if Travis was signaling or not but my experiences are, probably not. Please wait your turn, signal and go when safe to do so. If not there are alternatives such as the next left turn or a right turn to turn around and then go across. Yes, the rude and obnoxious driver blocking Travis was dangerous. The other driver changing lanes without waiting shows how dangerous that intersection happens to be. Drive safely.
So I don’t understand why people can’t figure out that they can miss their turn and then turn around elsewhere and come back. If your turn is across 4 lanes of heavy traffic, skip that one and move up till you can move over safely, then turn around and go back to your original turn.
Ever since covid everyone drives like shit no respect for anyone its sad to see. I drive a company vehicle you can't miss it I get cut off and people tail gate and get mad I'm doing the speed limit. My work vehicle is monitored by GPS.
If you have burned out brake lights, your car shouldn't leave the driveway until you fix it.

I was born in denver colorado, and my parent's lived there for year's and ive always heard stories about how my dad would cut through cars, police cars and crap just to go home or go to work even if he totaled the car, and they always told me afterwards that colorado has many insane drivers like my dad and is one of the worst places to either live or just go drive through.
Driving in Denver makes me crazy. It's like everyone forgot what the drivers manual said the second they got their license. You also have people from other states where in those states you're allowed to turn into whatever lane you want, whereas in Colorado you turn into the closest lane.

People are SUCH JERKS when they drive. I drive a school bus for a living and sometimes we've gotta get over to the far lane. We DON'T do that on purpose... we've gotta get over SAFELY..... WE'VE GOT KIDS ON BOARD...!!!! Either in my car or in my bus, I ALWAYS let others in....THIS IS NOT A GAME....!!!!
Finally someone who understand. I drive a bus too and we have fixed routes with bus stops so it’s not like we have a lot of time after checking a bus stop to change lanes and no one ever wants to let us over. People are mean. I’m the same way, I always let people in. People hate being behind buses.

I just had this in California. Needed to get over from slow lane to left turn lane 1/4 mile ahead at next intersection. Was in front of pickup in left "fast" lane, put on blinker sped up slowly moved over and the pickup GUNS it and nearly hits me and ends up tailgating person in front of them, would not let me in, HONKED, passenger rolled down window and start waving and cussing. If I had been allowed to merge I would have been out of their lane and into turn lane with ZERO difference to them, like it's supposed to work. I finally felt ROAD RAGE, never been so pissed at a driver.
Finally a person who uses proper grammar. The person narrating the video used the word collision and not the word accident. Cause there are no such thing as vehicle accidents. ONLY VEHICLE COLLISIONS!
I know the intersection, he's turning on MLK jr blvd. If hes coming from I-70 he had plenty of distance to merge legally. This other dude was just a jerk. That area is not the best on multiple levels (income, safety, and vehicle congestion) and people get really grumps.
i was delivering patio furniture in company box truck...coming on to red lite A$$wipe cut me off so he could go first when lite turned green...green lite he went like now just as a big stake truck was running a red lite on the cross street. took A$$wipe's front end OFF. we all got out to see up close went to A$$wipe and said to him with him having airbag burns.."hey ain't karma a Bitch?then just laughed in his face

Colorado is full of bad drivers. Just a melting pot of other state drivers. I've noticed a lot of Illinois, Washington, California and Texas drivers. I'm wondering why they are always in a hurry. They'll get there when they get there. Or turning in front of people. This Californian driver Its a 6 lane 4 going Westbound and 2 going eastbound with median in the middle. He was in the right turning lane of westbound and he made a left turn doing a U turn to go eastbound cutting off all these cars coming and going. Plus, that intersection has speed trap cameras on all sides. Like what the heck?
Yall wanna know the best part? I'm pretty sure the lane he merged in on, turns into a 3rd lane. Could just drove it down a few blocks.

I always always ALWAYS block people from merging in front of me. You never know what kind of insane moron could end up in front of you, or even worse you could have someone who drives slow in front of you.
Just stay in the right lane from your merge, turn right, uturn in a drivway, safely use the green light to go straight. I do that all the time. Especially when ppl are so embarrassingly clumbsy. Work smarter. Clumsiest human ballet.
This is what colorado has come to thanks to the influx of californians. They all drive like they do on their home highways which are always so packed that you can't go faster than 25, except they do the same tomfoolery here. Going 75.
I don't see the blazer blocking Travis. I see the white van hitting the brakes, causing blazer to brake. Show us video of blazer finding it fun, coming off the interstate.
Typical Colorado driver, grew up in Denver, moved to Wyoming. Now I have to go there every other weekend for my brother, and, once you cross the state line people are like total jerks on the highway.

It happens. Blocked vision, etc... Err to the side of caution folk. Don't drive emotionally.
If you miss your turn or are about to, dont slam on your brakes, dont force your way into the lanes. Simply take the next one and turn around. People are so impatient damn. Literally three cars in this clip did the same maneuver.

How is this justice? He may be an ass, but you need to yield to the right away traffic. Putting a signal on is like asking someone if you can move over. They do not have to let you.
I dont think the suv did anything wrong. You can't bend over backwards and roll out the red carpet just because someone is trying to changing lanes.

the trail blazer was missing the front bumber and battle damage to the right hand side and a tail light out, obviously he has no insurance and probably a suspended licence so he had nothing left to lose other wise he would have let that black nissan hit him, but he braked because if police arrived they would have towed his suv and cited him
Denver driver here. Eventually you get used to having to go a few extras blocks or exits to turn around and go back the other way.
