Everyone says that ‘08-14 was the golden age but there were a lot of sets you listed that are ‘18-current. As much as people be hating on Lego they’ve created some really good sets recently and people need to stop nit picking about every little thing. Great video!!
Honestly the Jedi interceptors are some of the best bank for you bucks sets I´ve ever bought; Ive had them through different points of my life and I still love them. I got the Anakin one back in Xmas of 2014 and I played to death with that thing (most of the stickers already have peeled off D: ) and much later I got the 2016 Obi Wan interceptor which I realy didnt like at first but it grew on me. Much later in 2021 I bought once again the Obi Wan interceptor one and I finally fell in love with it. Nowadays I just have them both on a technic stand and they look awesome
I've always had my eye on the UCS AT-AT but I really don't have room for it at home. I've got a heavily modded 2020 play scale AT-AT that I customized to hold a total of 28 minifigs, but even that model can still fit in my home on the Lego shelf. If I ever did get the UCS AT-AT I'd probably end up putting a lamp on top of it or put pencil cups and a tape dispenser on it 😂
I got the UCS AT-AT and while it is large it’s not actually that long it’s just tall. It’s about a foot long but 2 feet high. I think the verticality makes it easier to display.
Pretty impressive when some of the recently released sets are able to win over sets that were released 20+ years ago in the same price category. Would love to see a reranked listed that adjusts for inflation. Set 7155 would be brutally panned if something similar tried releasing today for $40.
I think the speration of old sets at low cost and new sets at higher costs is interesting. The price rule forced the exposure of inflation, i think. It fun to think about, though.
It honestly confuses me on how people go to the store, look at the overpriced asf Lego section and go “yeah I’ll buy that” Like a Lego set box that’s the size of a medium sized lunch costs about 50-80 dollars dude💀
My problem with the $70 and $80 picks is that $70 and $80 are too expansive for vehicles we see in such large groups. I’m the rare fan of the $40 tie fighter because it’s a great way to amass the grunt ship of the empire
I’m a rare fan of that one 4+ set that comes with the tie fighter and a rebel trooper because 1: you can easily get accessible rebels troopers, and 2: you can get a tie fighter for as cheap as you can get one
Bro needs more subs. I swear you make content on par with the bigger Lego UA-camrs. I’ve been watching mandrproductions for years and now I find myself watching you more than him. Good work mate👍
Like every Star Wars fan I despise the sequels, but the AT-M6 is my favorite walker in the entire series. It's the A-10 Warthog of Star Wars and I love it.
@@fivelonelyclones “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9 👍
as for 7261, there were 2 versions, if you got light up mace windu, you only got 2 regular clones. if you got regular mace windu you got 4. they were the same price.
I would like to clear this part up a bit, a lot of 2005 wave sets were redone after initial release, such as the 7259 arc 170 which swapped some technic bricks for lift arms. I have the brick version which came first. I also have the light up windu version with 2 clones for 7261 which is why I know there's different models
And minifg scale is a massive W!!! I own the Falcon and the At-At and the Sailbarge and the Star Destroyer and i would Rank them: 1. Falcon 2. At-At 3. Sailbarge 4. Star Destroyer And yes, because of the Star Destroyer being Out of scale
I really like the ucs razor crest over the star destroyer and venator but mostly because its minifig scale, modular, and has a full interior. That being said, all three are amazing sets
Why don't you ever go over the mini bag exclusive ships and vehicles like the mini at te, mini republic attack cruiser, and turbo tank when doing the polls about best versions? (Not talking about the microfighters or midiscales or advent calenders)
I just wish Lego would account for people having to build it and how long it takes just to be able to display it. If they added that factor into the price then these huge sets wouldn’t be so expensive. I would love to have a massive millennium falcon but even if I was wealthy I’m not spending $500 for it.
3:35 how on earth is that almost 600 pcs 6:07 WHY DOES LEGO INSIST IN PUTTING RED SPRINGBOLTS INSTEAD OF GREEN??? ITS A TIE FIGHTER, it has GREEN bolts
I really enjoyed this video, as always! I cheered when you picked the Slave 1 and the Imperial Shuttle-they are both nearly perfect sets, and the shuttle still holds up to today’s standards. I have both the AT AT and the Falcon, and I suppose I’d choose the Falcon based purely on personal attachment and nostalgia. I’ve done quite a few mods on my Falcon, so that has been fun. Have you seen the mod to add the retractable landing openings on the Venator? I’m curious as to what you think of it.
@@fivelonelyclonesI understand….you really have to rip the ship apart to incorporate the mod. I haven’t built mind yet, so I think I’m going to try to incorporate the mod as I build the set. I think the best 100$ set is battle of endor like there is so many play features and a At st the thing is you can nothing do with the Mtt except geting the troops out and thats it
I don't like the sequels either but the 150 is just a AT-AT rian Johnson just did ja bit of "more" plates to the bridge but I think we could get better thinks not like the same at-at from George Lukas yk
You always say you want to stay as objective as possible, and I am sure you try your best, but I always notice you prefer sets with clones and starfighters over others. I'm a big minifigure guy and not a big clone army builder, so for almost every pick, I could think of a set I thought was better. Like these sets are great, just not my cup of tea. I feel like not many people share that sentiment, everyone just goes nuts for clones, but I just wanted to say this to see if others would agree with me or if I'm all alone in thinking sets with more unique named characters and actual settings instead of just viecles are better sets.
@@fivelonelyclones I think he means it in general not just in context of the video. And that's just because the demographics of the lego star wars fans are moving.
