I am so excited you chose the Happy Birthday greeting because...wait for it...it's my birthday! It's also National Punctuation Day, so there's that too! What a great card. Love to watch you blend. It's so relaxing to watch. The bold Happy Birthday greeting with the tiny eat cake make it all so, well, happy. Thanks for sharing your talent with all us out here in UA-cam land. Look forward to your next card sesh 👉
Oh...I knew we were soul mates. I LOVE Schitt's Creek....I love it so much I bought the whole series on DVD. Your cards are fab...I really love how you explain your thought process. I often know something isn't quite working... but I'm not always sure what or why!
Love that set of stencils makes such a fun background. Trust me though do not do it in any bigger size. When the hospital I was working at back in the 80's redid the bathrooms they put in a bold geometric wallpaper and patients kept fainting when they looked at it too long. There you have it my home decor tip of the day.
Love these stamps! You can refill your anti static pouch with talc or cornstarch. Just pick apart a corner & funnel it in, stitch it up & away you go. I’ve been using scented talc in a makeup puff compact for many many years. Makes my cards smell lovely too ❤️🇦🇺
That extra background strip would be perfect on the envelope and then it matches the card. I actually always bring some element from the front panel to the inside and then to the envelope so it flows together.
Such a fan of typography!! Probably why i enjoy your work so much. Makes me want to go order an old letraset book and just relax with it. Just a really fun card!
I love those stamps. I need to add them to my wish list so I can buy them the next time I place an order at SSS. Your cards are fabulous. Thanks for sharing your creative process with us.
Yeah, I need this stamp set 😍 and dies I use a large cork trivet under my stuff that I’m heat drying. The heat it tool has been my heat gun of choice since ‘09. Mostly because it doesn’t blow embossing powder around 😁 It takes longer but I love it.
If you felt the need for a more inclusive series title, you could call it “New Stuff, Now What?” 😊 I’ve never seen the show mentioned, but I do know the difference between taut & taught. 😂 If I had this stamp & die set, I would be making lots of sentiments ahead of time, in multiple colors, just to have them on hand for multiple occasions. Such pretty card results! 😊❤️ Thanks again for sharing! 😊❤️
I love the stencil and how it turned out! The inks colors are a great choice. I'm going to have to try to buy it if it's not out of stock. Thanks for sharing.
Wowie, zowie! Ya just never know what magic is going to happen in the craft slash dining room. Sure do like these cards, and got a giggle when you said you hadn,t booped in a while. LOL. I really like the stamp set you designed, and appreciate that you created a card not using the fabulous oxide inks. Im ink poor at the moment, but am leaning toward a few oxide ones fially. You have sold me on the pink/orange/yellow combos that you turn to often. Cheers Cathy, look after that wrist of yours!
Love Schitts Creek. I’ve rewatched it lots too. Who is your favourite character? That stencil background is so pretty. I think I preferred the “eat cake” to be on the main sentiment to break up all the white, but it’s a beautiful card. Love the second card.
I love your cards and enjoy watching your videos. You have said in video to use separate blending brushes for distress and oxides but I can't remember why. Please help! Thank you card Goddess!
Oh, you don't need separate! I just keep them separate because this is part of my job and I made a lot of cards! They have different formulations. Distress Oxides are creamier, more like a pigment ink.
I really love this card
Yay! Another middle aged crafter!!!! Like me!
Both cards are great. So glad you used the little one, love it. And, yeh, New Stuff, Now What? is the way to go.
Love the stencils...and the Eugene Levy reference. Schitt's Creek got me through the lockdown, I love it.
Magical Misty tool. I love that soooooo much. You should coin that phrase.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Those colors are absolutely amazing. Both cards are beautiful.
The water splashes reminds me of rain against a stain glass window. Beautiful ❤
Cathy, you cracked me up with the intro to this one. I'm always happy when I find a new video from you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
How fun. I love your new greetings stamps.
LOVE this CARD, Cathy!! Very striking ---- you always make it look so easy! 😎
Love the card. Boop AND a whoooop. LOL. Hope to add that stamp and die set to my goodies. Thanks Cathy! Always enjoy your videos.
Gorgeous stencil-i think its a MUST HAVE for me!
Fab card😍
I also love Schitt's Creek. Too funny! xx
Those turned out beautifully-and yes sometimes you have to make a fussy card!
Love these stencils!!! Have a great weekend C Z,
Love the cards! Both of them! Just great!

Fun stamps and stencil set! I can see lots of potential!
Love it. Love it. Love it!

Beautiful cards. Thank you for the great tips.
Love this card Cathy. 😊🤗🥰
Okay! I saw that brush stand and needed it in my life! Thanks!💕
Love the color combo!
Ha! The moment you said that about “taught” I knew what you were talking about but also couldn’t remember! Yes Schitts Creek was so great! Loved it!
So good, right?
Love both cards.
Cathy your cards are beautiful... but don't be soooo serious, you'll have more fun doing it. Thanks for the ideas. Great card.

What cute cards!

I just got the dies and stamps--you are such an enabler !! LOL
Cute! Thanks for sharing!

Loved that.
Super cute cards!
Thanks so much!
Love these stencils and stamps.. and dies. Lord, I need it all. :) Good morning Cathy!!
Eye-popping cards! As always, your video proves that even the simplest cards require thoughtful design to be successful!
I always feel so inspired when I watch your videos. :)
Beautiful card and ink colors from the craft/dining room! You're a hoot!
That color combination is gorgeous! I love layered stencils, too. And I love your clean sentiments. So pretty.
Thank you so much!
Super cute, Cathy! Thanks for always sharing your creativity!
Thanks so much!
Love this card and the gorgeous colour palette! Thanks for sharing Cathy.
That extra background strip would be perfect on the envelope and then it matches the card. I actually always bring some element from the front panel to the inside and then to the envelope so it flows together.
Yep me too, extra nice 🏁 finish! 👍
Beautiful.
Great color combination on that cool stencil card. Love the clean lined font sentiment too!
Wow Cathy, wow wow, wow. These are amazing. Thanks so much. 😊
Glad you like them!
Cathy , your cards are gorgeous. I love the colors you chose. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. You have a lovely weekend.🤎🎃🍂🤎🎃🍁🤎🎃
If you flip that stencil pattern upside down, it looks like tulips, don't you think? Love those colors!
I thought I was the only one who went "boop" when adding sequins!
May sound insane, but... pink is doing it 4 your hands! They look lovely! 👍 (don't say i'm crazy)
Awesome cards!!!
Thanks a bunch!
Love them!! I have to get that stencil set!!
It's so good!
Such a fan of typography!! Probably why i enjoy your work so much. Makes me want to go order an old letraset book and just relax with it. Just a really fun card!
Letraset. Now that's a blast from the past!
i like to say “it’s only paper and ink”. i enjoy your vids so much.
These are both great cards. The stencil set is so versatile and your straight line sentiment stamps are really nice. Thanks so much for sharing! 💕
Love these!! The layering stencil is very cool! The large sentiments stamp set is AWESOME! Your cards are perfect! I love the Hello card!!
So tickled to catch you live! I love your videos, sense of humor and style🥰👍❤️
Thanks for coming
Super amazing card!!! Excellent choice on colors & placement of sub-sentiment! You INSPIRE… 🤗💕👍🏻
Thank you so much!
I love those stamps. I need to add them to my wish list so I can buy them the next time I place an order at SSS. Your cards are fabulous. Thanks for sharing your creative process with us.
Thanks, Barb!
I too have those stencils, THANK YOU for the great inspiration on how to use them!!! GORGEOUS Cards!!!❤️
Beautiful, simple, clean card. I love your enthusiasm!
Great stamp set! I am so glad stencils have made a comeback! Beautiful cards!
Cute cards. I love, love, love the stamp set!
Love the cards! Stencils are so much fun! Your color combo is fabulous! Thank you for sharing 😊
This card is so sweet!!! Love it!
I love those ink colors, and the stencils are really cute. Great job on the card!
Fabulous colors..I just love stencils ❤️
Hi Cathy, sorry to hear you are having problems with your wrists, good idea to rest them. 🌹
Love love the cards. The sentiments have clean lines and can be used in so many ways. The colours are cheery and bright! Thank you 🙏
I slightly warped my Misti mat accidentally so I can relate. Thanks again for a fun video. You always make me smile!
I need this stamp set. It is perfect for alot of different cards. Outstanding cards you made.
Stunning card, you never disappoint Cathy to encourage me. Going to have a play tonight.🤗
Yeah, I need this stamp set 😍 and dies
I use a large cork trivet under my stuff that I’m heat drying.
The heat it tool has been my heat gun of choice since ‘09. Mostly because it doesn’t blow embossing powder around 😁 It takes longer but I love it.
It is a good tool!
Great idea to use the a cork trivet. I am needing to get a new heat gun, and think I will get the Tim Holtz one too.
Love both these cards! Great use of a ‘left over’!
And it drives me crazy when people say "taunt" instead of taut!
…or mawv instead of mov (long “o”); we don’t pronounce taupe as ‘top’…
@@alisongrey4527 Regional accents differ. It's a fact of life.
I love the stencil and how it turned out! The inks colors are a great choice. I'm going to have to try to buy it if it's not out of stock. Thanks for sharing.
Que hermoso hasta no puede hacer sus tarjetas ❤🎉
Your nails look so prety

Love these cards! The confetti & "eat cake" definitely took the card from Walmart to Target. :)
Love Schitts Creek. I’ve rewatched it lots too. Who is your favourite character?
That stencil background is so pretty. I think I preferred the “eat cake” to be on the main sentiment to break up all the white, but it’s a beautiful card. Love the second card.
I think it has to be Moira. Or David.
@@czdesign yeah mine is David and then Moira. Alexis’ reactions are hilarious too.
Love your work. Your work is an inspiration.
When do you use 80lb paper and when 100lb?
It depends. I mostly use 110 unless I am dry embossing of fussy cutting! Then I use 8o!
Do you also use 110lb for die cutting with gemini?
Freakin love! Pardon my French. 😂
Hey Cathy, my guess is that if you take out the stamping pad from the misti, your paper doesn't give under the stencil ... just a thought ...
Hmmm. Didn't think of that!
Ordered the heat tool thinking it would emboss, but it really doesn't. Didn't know there was two different kinds
Schitt’s Creek is made in 🇨🇦
Love the card, the colors are beautiful! Side note... can I ask where you got your embellishment container?
Love how this turned out! Side question: If you could pick 4 or 5 distress inks to start out with, which ones would you pick?
Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmelade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron and Peacock Fethers. or, add a purple, Like Wilted Violet!
@@czdesign perfect. Thank you

You haven't booped in awhile and it felt good....made me think of the person who thought you were saying poop. LMAO
Ha!
