Railfanning the Northeast Corridor at Princeton Junction, NJ during the evening rush hour featuring New Jersey Transit and Amtrak. A few of the Acela's passed by at around 148mph.
Just cane across this vid - thanks for posting. Really enjoying it - good filming technique. Obviously with a tripod, and you let the trains do the moving not the camera (especially not zooming whilst filming as some do), and good scene choices and transitions. Nice day for it too. Thanks again and greetings from New Zealand, Marty.
I mean, right now, we'll take what we can get. We may not have the speeds like Europe or Asia. But it's what we have. And besides, a lot of places in the US don't have trains like this. Like, where I live.
Busy corridors are a pleasure always !
This section is quite a race track
2:22 that GP40 had no business moving that damn fast 😤
I remember one came through on Conrail Shared Assets' part of the line in Union, doing about the same or a similar speed.

Alstom ALP-45DP?
Wouldn't it be nice if they made new engines that looked like the iconic GG1 engines?
