If you don't have a warmer like Kelly used, set a plate on a heating pad. Alton Brown uses this method all the time, and he's a genius.
One lady used her stove to heat up a plate, took the plate off to keep it from being too hot, and using that to melt the pieces to put together.
Alton is the best!!

I’d never seen or heard of these until I saw an advertisement in a catalog. They were EXPENSIVE in the catalog. Much more affordable as a DIY. Unless you’re going to be face to face when gifting, I’d suggest a little note to say how to use them and that the large is the hot cocoa bomb and the small is the additives bomb. I’m sure there are still people that have never heard of them and you wouldn’t want them to think they were a bath bomb.😀

What a great idea for a gift! Imagine having some of them after the holidays. on a snowy day in January. Yummy!!!
My son loves hot chocolate and I give it to him every year and this is a MAGNIFICANT way to gift it to him! Thank you soooo much. I will definitely try this. I am going to try using my dark chocolate choco chips with some coconut oil for the shell as this would be more budget-friendly for me, as I have the ingredients on hand. I just melt them in the microwave and put them in the mold as you show here. This would be great for anything, including making peanut butter bomb candies, or huge buckeyes. You could also decorate the outside with sprinkle and present as and "ornament". The possibilities are endless!!

I have seen those around. Love how you mixed two different colored halves. Maybe use a cupcake box or liners to put in the decorative tin.... Love it❤

Beautiful I found putting your chocolate in a piping bag makes for an easy drizzle
Thank you for these great ideas! I’m going to get a mold today!! Helpful hint to get your chocolate thin enough to drizzle...add some vegetable oil to the chocolate and mix until thin. It makes the chocolate shiny too!!!

Put crushed candy canes in a spoon mold, we have at Wal-Mart and make candy cane spoons

I got small chocolate spoons at dollar tree think there was 4 in each box! I bought a mold on clearance last year after Christmas to try but haven’t had time and dollar tree made it easy to just buy lol

Love this!! When I make cake pops, I add a small amount of Crisco into the chocolate to get it to be a more runny consistency. Doing this might help with the drizzle effect! :)

FYI it's a sugar spoon. A leftover from the days we kept a sugar bowl on our tables 😊

I think a sugar spoon is a bit smaller. I'm pretty sure she's correct; it's a soup spoon. But whatever it is, it looks like it would work perfectly. :)
I even have an old jelly dish with the spoon when jelly used to be put on the table
