The ones I have done with almond bark do not melt well in the warm milk. I was going to use candy melts, but have seen where they do not taste very chocolate. Are you using Merckins?
Funny thing is it's so old that it wasn't clear when I got it 😂. I think it's from Ross or Marshalls, I got it like 10 years ago and the print came off the back from using it so much!

These are lovely and I can't wait to make the peppermint bomb! How much hot milk should be added for the best flavor? Is it necessary to use dairy milk, or could another (soy, almond, rice) be used? Thanks!
Thank you! My cup was around 12 oz. I used lactose-free dairy milk (tastes almost exactly like regular milk) so you could try that if lactose is the problem. I haven't tried it with any others so I'm not sure...let me know how it turns out if you give it a try though!
From my experience rice milk is very sweet in hot chocolate, with the sweet chocolate it could be too much. Toasted almond milk is delicious in hot chocolate, I love the taste of nuts with chocolate! Barista soy or oat milk should work as well, again they just shouldn't be too much sweetened. I hope this helps. :)

Yours are so pretty. I love the gold you used in the salted caramel video. So, when you let them sit upside down, all of the chocolate doesn't run out? And do you only coat the mold one time? And do you let them sit at room temp or refrigerate?
Thank you! If you pour out all the excess chocolate first, when you let it set upside down very little will continue to drip out.
