I think I see the pattern now. I’m getting the vibe that type 4s need to forgo the primer and gel and just use the potion (cream leave-in) and pudding.

Thanks for the review! Her products aren’t getting good reviews on type four hair. Maybe it’s about the creators hair type. Melanin styling products did and stay on reorder in my house.

Love your in depth reviews! So watching you use the treatment, yours doesn’t look like what I have 🧐 Mine has a tan coloring to it, slightly pearlized and it’s waaaaay thicker. It almost seems like your deep treatment was filled with the pudding. But, I’m loving the products even though they definitely have a learning curve. I’ve purchased back ups of almost everything!

The pudding is the star of the line, for me. Curly girl friendly and creamy.
I’m not interested in trying this line. I’d love to support her but I’d need better ingredients to justify those prices and sizes. Imma pass.

The standouts from this line is definitely the scalp clarifier and pudding
Yesssss!!! I finally had my wash day this Wednesday and omg that scalp clarifier is a G!! That was all I wanted. That and the curl pudding and those did wonders.

I had bought the MoKnowsHair collection also for 4 for $20. I was excited about the price and wanted to see what the products were like for my hair. I have 4c hair and I used everything but with the deep treatment I sat under my hooded dryer. I love the results. My hair was soft and manageable. But when I used the pudding and the gel together, OMG!!! Nothing but flakes! I wasn’t happy about that at all. So, I won’t be using those two together anymore. But thanks for sharing your video😊

You could also let your subscribers pick your wash day by creating a poll of shampoos, conditioners, stylers, etc with various styles and the ones with the most votes are what you use for the style that wins. I think you did something similar to this before with a poll app.

I would love to see more DIY protective styles, I’m 4c and I noticed when I have my hair out for too long it starts to break off because I’m doing too much. So is there any more cute protective styles you can show us.

Thanks for the honest review as always. Like you said, it's not because you don't like the product that they are bad for everyone. I was thinking about the flakes, maybe it's because you use a cowash instead of a shampoo.

I bought the full line (except the shampoo) 2 weeks ago & have been using all the products together to see how they work for my 4a/4b hair. I watched the MoKnowsHair wash & go tutorial that she did with the products & followed her guidance for use.
My impression after wash day #1 was "Meh" 🤷🏾♀️ But the 2nd time I lightly coated my hair with extra virgin olive oil after rinsing out the Curl Conditioning Treatment & before applying the leave-in spray to seal in some extra moisture. I've also been using the leave-in spray as refresher over the course of the week
Mo says that the gel is medium hold & concentrated, so should be used sparingly. Hard to believe for our coarser textured hair, but she's absolutely right! It's important to apply the gell to our hair when it's SOAKING wet, then leave it alone. I like that my wash & go feels super soft & light. It's definitely not the same shine that I get when I use heavier creams & gels, but my coils are defined & my hair feels very clean and fresh using the MKH line.
The sale is still on. It has been on the whole month of October.
Not entering the contest, but I feel like the first five ingredients would be good. Just because that’s the bulk of what’s in there. I don’t think this line is for me.

Oh and another thing, I figured out my method by thinking of your video and I’m thinking “Man let me try to put the oil on last.” And it WORKED! I didn’t feel the greasiness of my hair, like the product was just sitting there and my hair felt very rough. And yeah we have the same problem with leave-in spray too, I don’t like it lol but, thank you so much!
I like it but I noticed in the line that u can only use one of the stylers and the curl primer. U can't use the gel, potion or pudding together or mix them bc u will get flakes.

Hey girl welcome back! Do a video on product must haves. Like for me if I don’t have anything else I’m always going to have my Cantu leave in conditioner. My shampoo, conditioner etc. could all be different by my leave in always Cantu.

Hi I would love to see some of those protein deep conditioners that moisturize, your hair came out beautiful to me!👍
I used the pudding and leave in spray and I had no flakes and great results. I will use the spray and gel for my next wash n go. I don’t think mixing more than 2 is a good idea, a lot people had flakes even with 2 so I would not combine 3.
The scent was too strong for me. It smelled like a man’s cologne to me. I took it back to Sally’s. FYI: I have allergies so this was just to much for my senses.

I have to apply my deep conditioner right after I rinse my shampoo out on soaking wet hair because my hair dries out fast while I'm applying and finger detangling anyways.

That’s why I use a rinse out conditioner. If I skip this step, then use a deep conditioner without slip, I’m in trouble.

Your hair looks great. Can you do more videos regarding other hair product lines catered to African American with quionoa and ayuvedic herbs and their benefit for us. A while ago Smooth Naturals had a leave in with quinoa then she stopped selling it. Im old school and miss the days of Reve Essentials products. Has anyone found anything quite as perfect as their line was yet??? I propose we find the owners and crowdfund them back!

I’ve watched a ton of reviews and all of the other ones the treatment was like a tanish Darker color, Lexi’s treatment was white like the pudding. I wonder if there was a mixup.

I did use only the curl pudding and it helps my curls pop for just a day and the definition went away. A little goes a long way but I did notice some flakes.

Thanks for the honest review... the main comments about the line is that the flaking is an issue. I love how beautiful your hair turned out but after watching your posting and a few others... I will not be purchasing this line because products from the same line shouldn't be flaking and you shouldn't have to be light handed when applying products from the same line it makes no sense. I'm sorry Mo because I respect you and follow your channel but this issa no.

I tried the no section thing with my hair and almost passed out in the shower. The detangling process took so much longer for me😭😭 I wish I didn't have to section because it literally takes forever but it's necessary for me😂 your lucky.

I really really really wanted to love these products and I could not get them to work for me. I'm not sure about my curl pattern but my curls are a little looser than yours. I don't even know if it's the same length but probably lol
