Lol I came to this video after watching a colourpop video where they say thereis no way to revive them. I just thought: "Yeah you say that because you want people to re-buy everything".
Colourpop needs to put out organizers for SSS. I'm just starting to get hooked on them. I'm sure this video will help me.

Thank you for the great tips! I went HAM on Colourpop super shock when they first came out and they are still pretty good to go now, except for a few that have inevitably dried out. Now I know how to fix them. I think you can use jojoba or glycerine to fix them too, I use those products straight on my skin and I use the latter to re-hydrate my gel eyeliner and it works beautifully.
How did the rehydrated shadows hold up over time? Did you hydrate further or again if they dried out again?

Amanda this was so helpful! Even the paper towel design. What a great idea!
I love it, thank you. The oil idea really works. I used COVER FX custom infusion drops oil, the hydration one. It worked so fast. I had a super shock color which had been super dried out and it totally work on that. For blending I just put my brush straight in and then apply like I would normally blend out. It seems to work just fine that way for myself!
I have over 80 super shock shadows, just recently decided to pull them out and use them! So i do have a few that have dried out so i wanna get them back to life!
Great info! I have an extensive collection of these, love the formula, like working w my fingers, and they don’t crease on my hooded eyes. The simmers have maximum impact. Mattes are velvety. 💚💙💚 I welcome another class 🙂 I sometimes use these as a base.. especially the mattes..

Yes I was super disappointed to find all 12 supershocks completely dried out after less than year and I'm so happy you suggested this method to rehydrate them.

Thanks so much for the revival section. I have tried other people’s suggestions re: fixing sprays but these didn’t work for me. Can’t wait to tried this suggestion. Do you need to use the oil every time you want to use the shadow?

Do you have to do the oil step every time you use a dried out shadow or will that last a few applications before repeating is nessecary?

Thanks for this great video! I found it because I was specifically wanting to fix some dried out SSS, especially some limited ones that I can’t replace. When you use the oil to revive it, is that something that you would do right as you were about to apply that color, or would you do it ahead of time to any shadows that are dried out? Thanks again!!!

Thank you SO MUCH!!! I just bought my 1st Super Shocks & I needed some tips!! I never actually knew about them until idk the past year?? Lol...I've been kind of out of the cosmetic loop, so to speak🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️ But...I am SUPER OBSESSED!!! I am a big fan of metallic, & glitter shades-honestly not a huge fan of matte tbh. I love that there are some duo & multi chrome shades (I'm obsessed with chromes🙃🙃🙃) but yeah, thank you :) lots of love ❤️! Take care.

I just made my first colourpop order and am soooo pumped to try the sss out for the first time!!! My only question is if it dries out do you have to do the facial oil trick EACH TIME you want to use it or is just the once enough oil to kinda revive it?
GonzillaK you can get away with doing that once or twice but after that you should probably get a new one. You revive it once and it will last for awhile, you don’t have to do it every time you use it.

So, if anyone is curious..... You can definitely use rose hip oil. It worked great for me!!! It makes the shadow nice & soft, still dries down perfectly!!!
Thanks for this video - I pulled out "Animal" the other day and it was almost too hard to use. I'll try your ideas. Also, if you run out of makeup wipes and your shadow is broken, spray it with fix plus, put a paper towel on it, and press a quarter or something onto it as hard as you can.
