    캐티 너무 귀워요 ㅠㅁㅠ 저도 맛있는 음식을 먹을 때 댄스해요.
    I was mindlessly browsing YT after new year celebrations and found your channel and it has to be fate that I found you the first day of 2020. This is going to be a good year... Thank you so much for your amazing videos.
    (Sorry, long story ahead, I got carried away...)
    I grew up literally down the street (a 3 minute walk, tops) from my childhood best friends (sisters), and I grew up in their house nearly as much as my own. They're first-gen Korean immigrants and their mom is an AMAZING cook, so I was eating 김치 and 김밥 and 순두부 찌개, etc, for a large part of my life. However, I am as white American as someone could possibly be. And I'm reaaaaally not a cook. But I spend so much time missing and longing for the Korean food that feels as homely and comforting to me as mac n cheese.
    I love Maangchi's channel, but her recipes always felt so out of reach to me. Too many steps, ingredients, dishes, etc. But many of your recipes are so easy and accessible that even a whitey white American like myself can make and enjoy them. I'm absolutely going to be making most of your 반찬 recipes, as well as many others. Honestly, I can't thank you enough. 진짜 감사합니다~~~!!
    Sorry for my random Korean, but I hate how 한글 is written in English. And it's fun, I don't get to use it often. 제 나쁜 한국어해서 미안해요. 저친구의 어머니와 이야기 위해서 한국어 배웠어요.
    새해 복많이 받으세요!

    • @FutureNeighbor
      @FutureNeighbor  4 роки тому

      The noodle dish is called Perilla Kalguksu (들꺠칼국수). Many Korean recipes will use anchovy-kelp as a stock broth, but you can swap it with vegetable broth or simply use kelp broth to make it 100% vegetarian ;)
