I've loved this theme for a while and it's been some of my favorite covers by some of the VGM masters such as Smooth McGroove and Super Soul Bros. It was super ad to finally have a go at it in my own way. I tried to go very atmosphereic / shoegazey metal with this one (very prevalent string section and heavy delay on guitars) which kind of happened by accident by just how I started working on the arrangement. I'm really stoked with how it turned out though and I hope you guys enjoy it! :D

YELL yeah! Chrono Trigger is my favourite RPG of all time. I have maxed everyone out, obtained ALL armour and final weapons for everyone, and I have obliterated every single timeline and obtained all endings... and I STILL play it over... because the adventure is fantastic! The nostalgia you've just brought back... Need to break out my copy of CT again. :D
@rediquadri82 That's the best version anyway, because it had everything from the Playstation version (the FMVs, the sound test) while also adding a couple of new dungeons and a superboss.

I played this game when I was 15...back in the day. 1995. I have it memorized.
This is absolutely fantastic. Props to you. More than just the sick guitar, your cover is so amazing because it captures the vibe of the game so perfectly. The shoegazey, kind of "out there" guitar just goes so well with the whole feel of this game. Blown away.
