Hi .. your work is amazing . I wanna ask why did I you use hi-float ? And is it necessary to use it for filling the balloon with glitter ? Can I use sth else ? Or use nothing ? ..
Thanks :) I used the high float to cause the glitter to stick to the sides of the balloons. I really do not know of anything else that you can use to get the same effect as high float dries clear and will not damage the balloon :) You can use a bit less then I did as well, you just need to get it coated enough for the glitter to stick. Sometimes you can get away with no high float if you rub the balloon with cloth, to make it full of static, that will not get as covered but I have seen it done :) Also sorry for the delay I was away from my pc for a few days :)
I do not think that would work. First of all Hi-Float is a bit sticky, and then dries holding the glitter in place, oil does not dry very quickly, and is not sticky. Also Hi-Float is safe for balloons where as oil may or may not be, depending on the type. So I would not recommend it. Perhaps if you go to the Hi-Float website you can find a place to purchase it :) Here you go hi-float.com/wheretopurchase/
Once these dry, 'if' they pop is the glitter still stuck to the balloon? Just wondering because some of the venues have a no glitter policy. I'm sure they mean loose glitter being thrown around but I am curious.
yes and no, they still make a mess even after dried, at least to get this amount of uniform coverage. However if you us less by pre-measuring it, then it may not be as messy. :)
Okay, well for me the double stuff is a big fail. -- Also I tested to find out how big a mess those make if after 2 days, they pop. Oh, boy. It's a mess. Have you ever provided this to a client and had them come back to tell you it popped?
Nope I have not, I was playing with this based off of Sue Bowlers Design. I shared the picture of the heart and demand was there asking how I did it, so I made a video :) And I made this video over a year ago and still have glitter in my office in the strangest of places... LOL If you saw through to the outtake LOL. I have had some success in deflating them slowly inside a trash bag. They do look cool but are messy. Sorry for the delay I did not catch your question :)

Did you ever double stuff the clears? Or does that look bad?
