Margaret, I love your studio. Thank you for explaining everything. It was so helpful . Again I love love your studio! By your videos I am able to plan a smaller version for my sewing room.
Have to tell you, finally have a design wall. The funny thing is, We did the very same thing you and your husband did. So far so good. Thank You for your video
+Liz Turney Believe me Liz there are many nights my husband has come out to the studio and asked if I was done working for the day or not! :) I LOVE the space and light I have! Thanks so much for watching!
I really enjoyed your video & my view is your artist is a person who has studied Donna Dewberry's artwork & she learned well. I first watched your Bonash review video & therefore was surprised their pressing sheet wasn't shown at your pressing station. Your studio is very impressive & I'm enjoying your videos a lot. My 1st video of yours that introduced me to you was about Creative Grids Rulers that you recommend & I now have many of their rulers & enjoy those greatly. Enjoy your studio. I loved seeing your mother's coasters on your sewing table!
Really helpful video.I am hoping for a design wall, you have provided some good ideas there.I have been watching your studio develope, it's lovely, do enjoy it .Looking forward to the sewing table video.
WoW I really love your studio and I watched all those videos of out being built in the process. It's a little backwards from how they build here in California. Unless it had to do with the heated floors. I'm not sure how they will those here. But I just love LOVE your studio space.
+Tressie Carter Tressie, me too! The painting that was done by a local artist is beyond beautiful! Just wait until you see my cutting station!! Thanks for watching!
My husband made my design wall the same way yours is made... Mine desperately needs a lint roller! Blocks look so different on a DW than they do on a flat surface... I use mine all the time... I like to put something up, and let it sit with me fof a few days....
Love Love the idea hope you don't mind if I use it lol I just had told my hubby that the regular ironing board is just not great for us quilter/crafters and I have the perfect long dresser that I can upcycle to make one kinda like the one you showed so thank you for the idea.have a blessed day! grandbabies are waking gotta run lol I also have a tucker. I heard you say in another video that your tuck tuck was there lol love it --small world it seems sometimes. see ya next time ty
+Sonya Rosamond I don't mind at all! That's what it's all about here, enjoying, sharing and quilting together!! Do you call your Tucker 'Tuck Tuck'? We do and sometime I'll try to get him on video he just looks at me like he'll do anything I ask of him! How we love our animals!! Thanks for watching!
I love your studio. I am curious, tho, why do you have to line up stuff on the design board perfectly with lines on the fabric? Isn't it just a trial run to see how things look? Your are going to have to take it all down to sew it, right? I am working on my studio, and perhaps a design board, so I was just wondering. Thanks.
Hi Margaret I’m curious are you still using this same pressing surface (Bo-Nash)? If so would you still recommend it? I’m getting ready to make myself a pressing station.
Margaret, so far Linda Franz has the most efficient way to do paper piecing. Check out her program that allows you to print patterns onto you material after you iron it face down to freezer paper. She is on youtube.
+wog1949 I use them when pressing my seams when piecing blocks. You can see all about them in my review here: ua-cam.com/video/_97-KDq5IXU/v-deo.html. Thanks for watching!

It looks very nice organized. Congratulation ! What is the size of the pressing table please?
Great studio. What are hanging light clubs? It wasn't clear what some of the items in the bottom drawer were.

My design wall doesn't have any lines on it
I am looking to make improvements in my studio. How do you organize your quilting patterns?
Did you put screws where the 2 boards meet
Hi Margaret I’m curious are you still using this same pressing surface (Bo-Nash)? If so would you still recommend it? I’m getting ready to make myself a pressing station.
Also, what size is yours? I’m trying to figure out what a good size would be
Lovely!
My dream is your reality. Enjoy!!!
How wide was your flannel fabric for the design wall and how did you connect it to cover the insulation board? TY
+Irene Humphries the flannel is 108" wide and we simply duct taped it to the back. The fabric was tight so no need to tape it on the front.

+T CR Thank you! I will check it out!
What are those ironing sticks used for?
+wog1949 I use them when pressing my seams when piecing blocks. You can see all about them in my review here: ua-cam.com/video/_97-KDq5IXU/v-deo.html. Thanks for watching!
