I wasn't excited about the thought of taking an entire wall in my home and damaging it will a lot of push pins to secure the flannel to the wall. Your idea is exactly what I need! My fav is the Wonky V-Neck - Sea Foam + Grey tee. This concept is also a great idea on a smaller scale for children. Cut out shapes of animals, flowers or whatever you want and they can use their creativity to make a scene without messy glue!

I did something similar I just tacked up some batting straight onto the wall. I also use it to hang my finished work to take a picture. I've done this for a while but it doesn't lay flat on the wall, so I was looking for an alternative. When I found this I really liked the idea of it being portable and how nice it looks. although I thought it would be hard to hang a full to king sized quilt on it. I found this video a couple of weeks ago and just now thought of a solution to that! I(you) could put binder clips on my quilts and hang them on "C" hooks that are in the wall! (If you do not want to put huge holes in your walls with "C" hooks, maybe some type of command hook would also work!)

I can't wait to move and make my wall for my new quilt room, I have a wall that is just perfect for this type of wall and I will attach it to the wall permanently. Thank you so much. Lowes will cut this stuff to size for you. Wood as well. They do it free of charge. The Lowes by me even cut wood that I didn't buy there. We left a great tip since the didn't charge us!

Stephanie Spaltro yes! You will need pins for anything heavier, but quilt blocks and pieces will stick on their own! The flannel on mine is still working perfectly!
