Urban Sketching Philly Navy Yard Step by Step John Romita Sr influences

John Romita Sr is an icon. The work that he did was on most of the comics that I read as a kid. He was a great illustrator that inked many of the great penciler's covers as well as defining what Spider Man would be looked like. Romita was the bridge from Kirby in the 60s to his son JRJR in the 80s-90s. Every panel on every page filled with information. Genius work. I am sketching at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia. I love drawing machinery. The Navy Yard has plenty of interesting things to sketch.
