Arnold was absolutely brilliant to go into comedy after the Terminator and Predator movies. The contrast is hilarious. Don't underestimate this man...He'll be back.

Oh, and, Arnie, thanks for Not Shooting Me when I Snowboarded in your Back-Yard in Idaho! Nice Fort you have there, btw.
He isn't being asked about a political matter. Wild idea. Arnold for Speaker of the House. You don't have to be a member of the House. The presidential line of succession survived having Madeleine Albright as Secretary of State. We can handle Arnold as Speaker..
Arnold as Speaker of the House, why not actually. He'll terminate all the crazies in the GOP, with a slap on the wrist if necessary. He's the right age. He's one of the younger ones in the GOP.
Trump wasn't a horrible politician because he was in the entertainment business. He was a horrible president because he was a racist, narcissistic, pathological liar.
Berle's full name was Mendel Berlinger, he was not from Germany he was born in New York City. He chose Milton Berle as his professional name when he was 16.
@@betsyduane3461 It's possible he meant to say his family is from Germany and his name was shortened on their entry to the US. Humans aren't perfect memory machines, sometimes we make mistakes like that.
That difference in timing he explained. pretty much sums up the difference between Austrian and American Comedy. If you would make this pause too long while speaking German the punchline would come across as way too forced and unfunny but in English it works perfectly.
I was a lifelong Democrat until Bill Clinton did the White House and Governor Gray Davis happened to California. There are actually quite some differences between German & Austrian humor, but it's difficult to explain to someone who doesn't speak German. Similar to it being difficult for anyone not speaking English to discern British from American humor. A (not fully true) stereotype though is, that us Austrians think Germans have very little sense of humor but their act together whereas the Austrians can be hilarious jokers and laugh about themselves because they're not always taking themselves very seriously. Partly as a consequence of having lost two world wars, shrinking from empire to irrelevant in a few decades, a few generations ago.
Arnold's election to Governor prompted a flurry of legislation to make sure a US president had to be born in the USA. That opened the door for the "birther" crap. He is more level-headed for the current gop crop to compete with. Arnold is a better man than you-know-who.

One wonders what is a Republican these days. Destructive and obstructive, taking positions/stances just to oppose? Not getting on with supporting democracy? If most Republicans were of a similar mind to Arnold S. the USA would be a much better place for everyone.
