just followed this tutorial and made my favourite pair of jorts ever (i’ve been planning to make them for a while but didn’t know how). this was honestly such a helpful video really easy to wrap ur head around and follow. keep up the good work👍
for everyone asking if you can do this without a sewing machine: if you are patient it will work out, a few notes though. Make your stitches very close, a millimeter if you can. And it took me 6 hours in total btw
Hey, I got a question with your math when you say multiply the last two measurements for example my measurement was 13 from crotch to him and the width of depends I was using was 6.5 and then the measurement of the other pants were 12 was I supposed to multiply 13 and 6 or 12x6 but still I’m measuring in inches and that would’ve given me a crazy number so I don’t really know how to do the math on that part. Can you show me?
my instagram username has changed to @__benjager__

I'm so dumb, the measurements part confused me, i stopped doing the jortd
dm me on instagram i’ll help you out!
Mine looks odd… the flare panel parts end up kinda squishing together and it looks like a suspicious body part when I stand😭
💀💀💀
Great video 🔥
is there that much of a difference when u flare the outseam and the inseam compared to just the inseam
if you do the outseam it’ll look a little weird, they’ll flare out weirdly at the hem like bell bottom shorts rather than baggy shorts
Need this but for pants
Need it like Wandythemaker style
i have a baggy pants tutorial up on my channel!!
How did u get leg opening to be bigger and still have a hem edge all the way around, from a single pair of jeans?
The math aint mathing
no i used two pairs of jeans, that’s how i did that

Or was it 6.5×2 because the difference of 6.5 and 12 is 6.5
it would be 12 - 6.5 x 2 so your width of the flare penal would be 11 and then you’d want to add a seam allowance to that
I dont have a seam ripper. What should I do
I used scissors they wok fine
what sewing machine you are using?
my moms machine, it’s an old janome
