This takes me back to the very early 1980's when I was in my very early 20's and able to visit a Finnish girl who I had been corresponding with since we were Girl Guides & stayed in touch for years after earning our badges 😊I visited her in "Ruska" time = autumn when the silver birch forests are at their most colourful & contrast so beautifully with the many beautiful blue lakes that Finland is famous for. THIS pour really inspires me to try one of my own (for memories sake) - just with more autumnal colours that I still have on photos of the times spent hiking in Finnish Lapland. Hello Carole, Is the canvas dry or does it have a layer of white base colour? It doesn't look shiny so I think maybe it doesn't, and there are black/grey smudges, so I think it is dry? I love your trees. Is your sister still painting? If I recall, both you and your sister used to paint. I hope she is well.
