Audi has always been, and will always be something you have to choose if you don't have the opportunity to buy BMW and mercedes. BMW is the best, the 2nd is mercedes, the 3rd is audi.
I would deffinetly choose the R Class although, as an ante-commenter said, the R Class isn't the right contender. The right contender would be the GL Class, far superior from the other two.
Yea, it's weird, because I heard someone else say like a week ago, that the R8 V10 concept was going to have more power than the R8 V12 concept. That doesn't make any sense. I bet the V10 will have more power but less sportiness, getting to 60mph in about 5 and a half seconds, while the V12 might have less power but it will probably be $100,000 and get to 60mph in a quick 4.7 seconds.

This is quite typical for this motor show (Auto Motor und Sport TV), they do compare a MPV with 2 SUV its different classes and no competitors. :angry:

Well i am too lazy to search up the exact facts but i know a bit(not accurate). What i heard is it has 500HP lol that's it. I also heard that there making a Audi R8 V12 TDI too which obviously feature the same engine as the Q7 V12, so your getting a super car engine in a SUV :).
I've been watching Audi whoop everyone at the Sebring 12 Hour for the past 7 years, the past two with the TDI version. Last year one of them even came from the back of the field. Now I see the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI whooping other diesel Mercedes and BMW in acceleration. But we can't buy it!
Hands down, the q7 takes the prize! Too bad we don't have any TDI versions in the US market yet.... I sell Audi's for a living and stand behind their product 100%! Respect the rings!

Dabei verbrauche ich aber 8,8l/100km max 11l und keine 12,8l......

Wenn man natürlich fährt wie sau sind Verbräuche um 12l kein Wunder.Normal gefahren ist der Verbrauch beim BMW deutlich geringer.
