*_NO SCRABBLE INVOLVED_* 0:30 Begins looking for a bill in the same "condition" as his so as avoid a visible distinction between his bill & theirs & then switches them by using her walk on stage as a distraction. 1:24 Admits part of the trick upfront & even demonstrates it. See, the Scrabble bag holds some tiles in a lower sealed off section for sound effect & participants only pull tiles from the top open section which contains pre-picked tiles that spell the exact words he has already taken time to memorize, & yes, their values purposely add up to the serial number on his personal dollar bill he switches with her original bill from the beginning.
At 2:12 his right hand slips her original dollar bill into his pocket. He is using his own bill with desired serial numbers. With enough scabble letters to choose from, you can spell any of those bingo words.
...And have an E and an a left over and do it all in 3 minutes. I couldn't do that. I don't think many people could do that, even with time to prepare the trick!
Pretty amazing. So either you got a palmed bill... well obviously you got a palmed bill since you switch it... and you have her write on it... she seems to act very acustomed and premeditated, maybe a plant... and you got sets of 3 words that equal the total no matter what letters are drawn and you have worked all the contigencies and possible outcomes... and I'm sure you can reproduce the trick with some kind predictable numerology to serial numbers or some kind of washable ink...
wow you think this is real and not taped and staged with actor audience? check out 1:38-1:39 flicker barely noticable. as for scrabble it's not a continuous camera feed for all the tiles chosen. they're all pre-chosen and all he has to do is memorize the order of the words to put down.ONLY BELIEVE HALF THE SHIT YOU SEE BUT NEVER BELIEVE THE SHIT YOU SEE ON VIDEO DUH!
Guys give him some credit. This is the very man who conceptualised and designed the illusions and tricks in Now You See Me. Hes a genius.

***** It's easier than it looks for an avid Scrabble player.
He just moves the bill from his left to his right... there's no switch. The bill with the serial number is still the one that she drew the whale on.
Qat is a small evergreen shrub. I know that from playing Scrabble on CD. That's about all I know :)
sarahbee126 I know it from a Barenaked Ladies song
the last one was totally IDEA not ID (but perhaps he left the two unused tiles as E.A. for a reason??) Electronic Arts?
Or maybe it was part of the trick and he explained why he left the E and A out?

Well the sleight of hand was just a gimmick, though better than I could do. But the scrabble execution was really quite impressive.
